인성교육을 위한 『중국어Ⅰ』수업 설계

Abstract

최근 신종코로나바이러스 감염증(코로나19)의 확산으로 전 세계가 어려움을 겪고 있는 가운데 우리나라는 전국 초·중·고등학교의 개학이 1개월 넘게 연기되고, 단계별 온라인 개학 및 원격수업을 도입하는 유례없는 상황을 맞이하였다. 코로나19 팬데믹의 혼란스러운 상황에서 감염병과 함께 퍼지고 있는 것은 반중(反中) 정서로, 중국을 향한 혐오 발언 및 차별사례가 속출하였다. 2019년 국가인권위원회 조사결과에 따르면 우리나라 청소년의 10명 중 7명은 혐오 표현을 접한 적이 있고, 5명 중 1명은 혐오 표현을 사용한 것으로 나타났다. 성별, 인종, 국적 등 특정 대상을 향한 혐오의 정서는 비단 청소년뿐 아니라 우리 사회에 만연한 문제로 심각한 수준에 달했다. 그리고 청소년들은 이에 무방비로 노출되어 일상 속 혐오와 차별을 마주하고 있다. 혐오가 만연한 사회와 중국에 대한 반감이 커지는 교실 속에서 본고는 중국어 수업을 통해 세계시민의 자세를 함양하며 인성교육을 실현하는 것을 목표로 하였다. 이를 위해 우리나라 인성교육의 이론적 배경 및 『인성교육 5개년 종합계획(2016~2020)』을 살펴 인성교육의 방향을 설정하고, 중국어 교과에 적용 가능한 핵심가치·덕목 및 역량을 추출하여 수업에 적용하였다. 그리고 서울 소재 일반계 고등학교 중국어 학습자들을 대상으로 ‘중국 및 중국어 수업에 관한 인식조사’ 설문을 진행하여 연구의 기초자료로 삼고, 2015 개정 교육과정 『중국어Ⅰ』 문화영역 분석을 통해 인성교육과 연계 가능한 내용 및 교수 학습 방법을 채택하였다. 이를 바탕으로 관심, 차별, 협업이라는 세 가지 주제를 적용한 3차시 수업을 설계하였으며, 실제 교육현장에서 활용할 수 있는 교수 학습 지도안 및 활동지를 제시하였다. 본 연구는 중국어 문화영역 수업을 통해 중국어 교과의 교육목표인 세계시민의 자세를 기르는 것과‘존중’과‘공동체 역량’의 핵심가치·덕목 함양을 도모하여 중국어 수업에서 인성교육을 연계했다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 이를 통해 중국어 교육에서 인성함양이라는 교육적 가치를 실현하는데 조금이나마 보탬이 되기를 바라며, 학생들이 보다 바람직한 방향으로 성장해가길 소망한다.;With the world suffering from the recent spread of the Coronavirus Pandemic (COVID-19), Korea has faced an unprecedented situation in which the opening of elementary, middle, and high schools across the country has been postponed for more than a month, and the introduction of online and distance education. It is anti-China sentiment that is spreading along with the chaotic situation of COVID-19, with a number of hateful remarks and discrimination cases toward China. According to the survey from the National Human Rights Commission of Korea in 2019, seven out of ten teenagers in Korea have encountered hateful expressions, and one in five showed the hatred expressions. The hatred, not only for the teenagers, but also for among the gender, the elderly, and the race, has reached a serious level as a problem prevalent in our society. This study began with the aim of achieving the goal of Chinese teaching, which fosters global citizenship in classrooms where youth live in a society where hatred prevails and anti-China sentiment exists, and to practice character education through Chinese language courses. The purpose of this study was to link our character education based on core values and competencies suitable for Chinese curriculum. The survey was conducted on Chinese class students in Korea high school by examining their perceptions of China and Chinese classes, which is the basis for this study. In addition, the 2015 revised curriculum Chinese Ⅰ in the cultural unit of textbook was analyzed to select basic contents and teaching methods that could be linked to character education, and to suggest learning guidance that can be used in the field according to each unit. This study is meaningful that it linked character education in Chinese language classes by promoting or achieving the goal of Chinese language teaching: global citizenship and ‘respect’virtues and ‘community competency' through Chinese culture classes. I hope that this study will help to link character education with Chinese language education, then, students will grow in a more desirable direction.
