고등학교 중국어 과제 모형 개발 및 과제중심학습 지도 방안

Abstract

A task, which purpose is to improve learners' communicative competence, is a meaning-focused product that learners need to produce using their own knowledge and experience. For this task, learners are required to interact with others and solve a challenging problem. This task-based approach in highschool Chinese education encourages learners to learn a target language by letting them directly join a problem-solving process. In addition, it keeps learners motivated and interested because they will use their own experience to complete the task. Therefore, a task-based approach is a very effective way of improving learners' communicative competence by encouraging them lead the communication process. With importance and necessity of a task in highschool Chinese education, this study aims to provide models of tasks for Chinese classroom in highschool and, at the same time, design a model of a lesson using this task for improving communicative competence. The procedure of this study is as follows: In chapter Ⅱ, the concept of a task, principles for designing a task, and general directions for teachers are suggested. In addition, several teaching models for a task-based approach are provided. In chapter Ⅲ, models of tasks for improving students' communicative competence was designed with reference to the contents of the most widely used textbook, High School Chinese Ⅰ(published in Jeong-jin publishing company). In chapter Ⅳ, a lesson plan for the one selected chapter of the textbook was suggested so that the model of tasks designed in chapter Ⅲ can be used in a real classroom situation. This study is significant in that it suggested various models of a task which can be used in Chinese classroom in high school. Even though studies on a task-based approach in teaching Chinese are not actively performed now, it is expected that this study will be the stepping stone for it.;과제란 의사소통 능력을 향상시킬 목적으로 학생 자신이 가지고 있는 지식, 경험을 이용하여 다른 언어 학습자와 상호작용하면서 문제를 해결하여 결과물을 산출해 내는 의미 중심의 학습 문제라고 할 수 있다. 고등학교 중국어 교육에서 과제의 이용은 학습자가 과제를 통해 문제 해결 과정에 직접 참여하여 목표 언어를 배울 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 학습자가 과제를 완수하기 위해 자연스럽게 자신의 경험을 활용할 수 있게 되어 학습자들의 동기 유발과 흥미를 지속시켜 줄 수 있다. 또한 과제를 통해 학생들이 의사소통활동을 주도하게 되어, 학습자의 의사소통 능력을 향상시키는데 효과적인 방법이라 할 수 있다. 그래서 본 논문에서는 중국어 수업에서의 과제 활용의 중요성과 필요성을 인식하여, 고등학교 중국어 수업에서 사용할 수 있는 과제의 모형을 제시하고자 하였으며, 동시에 과제를 이용하여 의사소통 능력을 기를 수 있는 수업 모형을 개발하고자 하였다. 이러한 목적 아래 본 논문은 다음과 같은 절차로 논의를 전개하였다. 제Ⅱ장에서는 과제의 개념 및 과제 설계 시에 고려해야할 원리들과 과제 제작 과정에서 교사들이 주의해야 할 사항을 살펴보았고, 과제 중심 학습에 대한 교수 모형을 살펴보았다. 제Ⅲ장에서는 학생들의 의사소통 기능을 향상시키기 위한 과제의 모형을 제시하였는데, 현재 고등학교에서 교과서로 가장 많이 사용하고 있는 정진출판사의 고등학교 중국어Ⅰ 교과서의 내용을 바탕으로 하여 과제 모형을 제시하였다. Ⅳ장에서는 Ⅲ장에서 개발한 과제의 모형을 실제로 수업에 활용할 수 있도록 하기 위해 정진출판사의 고등학교 중국어Ⅰ 교과서에서 한 과를 선택하여, 과제 중심 학습의 지도안을 제시하였다. 본 논문은 고등학교 중국어 수업에서 사용할 수 있는 다양한 과제 모형을 제시하였다는 점에서 의의를 지니고 있다고 하겠다. 본 논문을 통해 중국어 교육에서는 아직 활발하게 진행되고 있지 않았던 과제 중심 학습에 대한 연구가 앞으로 더욱 충분히 이루어지기를 기대한다.
