한국 영화 속의 정치적 담론의 공명효과 연구

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the Resonance effect of political discourse in Korean films. And it was focused on the influence of political discourses in Korean films on Chinese viewss’ Political consciousness. There are 16 pics films have been selected for this study, include in 〈Desire〉, 〈The Way to Home〉, 〈Crucible〉, 〈Memories of Murder〉, 〈The voice of his voice〉, 〈The pursuer〉, 〈Joint Security Area JSA〉, 〈Day, Sea〉, 〈Taxi Driver〉 and others. The results of this study show that Chinese heavy viewers of Korean films about political discourses have a higher grade on political consciousness and a clearer political attitude than light viewers. Epecially, there is a great difference between the the principle of value of political consciousness, the principle of operation and democratic life attitude. In addition, a meaningful difference on political consciousness of Chinese heavy viewers of Korean films about political discourses wasn’t discovered, even if these films have been made in the different kinds of theme, political theme or social theme. The results of verification on the resonance effect show a difference in political consciousness between Chinese heavy viewers who live in ‘urban’ the others who live in ‘countryside’. In other words, Chinese heavy viewers who live in ‘countryside’ have a higher grade on political consciousness than urban residents who answered 3 pics or more Korean films seen of which used in this study. However, the other independent variables including gender, age, income, educational background and experiences in political activity or differential treatment didn’t make a statistical influence on political consciousness of Chinese heavy viewers.;본 논문은 정치적 담론을 다룬 한국 영화의 시청이 중국인 시청자의 정치의식에 미치는 영향을 중심으로 한국 영화 속의 정치적 담론의 문화계발효과와 공명효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구를 이루어지기 위해 연구 초기에 선정된 정치적 담론을 다룬 〈소원〉, 〈집으로 가는 길〉, 〈도가니〉, 〈살인의 추억〉, 〈그 놈 목소리〉, 〈추격자〉, 〈화려한 휴가〉, 〈공동경비구역JSA〉, 〈그날, 바다〉, 〈택시운전사〉 등 16편 한국 영화의 중국인 시청자를 대상으로 설문조사를 시행하여 SPSS를 이용해 양적 분석을 시도하였다. 한국 영화의 정치적 담론에 노출된 중국 시청자들의 노출빈도에 따라 중시청자와 경시청자를 구분한 다음에 한국 영화 속의 정치적 담론의 문화계발효과를 검증하고자 했다. 연구 결과는 정치적 담론을 다룬 한국 영화에 많이 노출된 중국인 중시청자가 경시청자에 비해 정치의식이 더 높고 정치태도가 선명하다. 특히, 정치의식의 가치원리, 운영원리와 민주적 생활태도 측면에 차이가 크다. 공명효과에 대한 검증은 한국 영화의 정치적 담론에 많이 노출된 중시청자의 거주 지역이 정치의식에 영향을 준 결과를 나타났다. 응답한 중시청자의 거주 지역에 따라 도시나 시골에 사는 한국 영화 정치적 담론에 많이 노출된 중시청자 간에 정치의식에 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 잇다는 것이다. 즉, 시골에 거주한 중시청자는 도시에 거주한 중시청자보다 정치의식이 더 높다. 그러나, 본 연구에서 사용된 다른 독립변인인 정치적 활동에 참여한 경험, 불공평 대우를 당한 경험, 앞으로 불공평한 대우를 당할 가능성이 높다는 생각, 그리고 연령, 성별, 교육수준과 소득은 한국 영화의 중국인 중시청자의 정치의식에 영향을 미친다는 결과가 나타나지 않았다. 연구 결과에 대한 요약은 정치적 담론을 다룬 한국 영화의 중국인 시청자는 영화를 본 수량이 많아질수록 정치의식이 높아지며, 그 중의 시골에 거주한 중시청자가 도시에 거주한 시청자에 비해 정치의식이 높다. 이런 결과를 토대로 할 때 한국 영화 속의 정치적 담론의 공명효과가 보인다고 판단하였다. 그런데다 중국 시골에 거주한 사람의 수량을 고려하면 한국 영화의 정치적 담론의 공명효과에 대한 연구는 더 깊게 진행하는 가치가 있다고 할 수 있다.
