텔레비젼 교육방송 활용에 관한 조사연구

Abstract

본 연구는 현재 학교현장에 투입되고 있는 텔레비젼 교육방송의 활용에 대한 실태를 파악하여 학교에서의 TV 교육방송의 활용증진을 위한 방안과 교사들에게 실질적인 도움을 줄 수 있는 방향을 모색하고자 시도하였다. 주요 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 1. TV교육방송을 이용한 교실수업시에 학생들에게 미치는 영항에 대한 교사들의 의견은 어떠한가? 2. 수업에서의 텔레비젼 교육방송 활용형태는 어떠한가? 3. 교육방송 활용안내서의 내용에 대한 교사들의 반응은 어떠한가? 4. 교사들은 수업에 필요한 TV 교육방송 프로그램을 어떻게 선정하고 있는가? 5. 국민학교 교사와 중학교 교사들은 어떠한 반응차이를 보이는가? 이러한 연구문제에 대한 반응을 알아보기 위하여 설문지를 작성하였고 서울시내 국민학교 교사 및 중학교 교사 총 180명을 유층표집에 의하여 선정하였다. 배부된 180부의 설문지중 169부가 회수되었다. 조사결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻게 되었다. 1. 교사들은 텔레비젼 교육방송에 대하여 호의적인 태도와 관심을 가지고 있었다. 그러나 정기적으로 활용하기에는 활용을 위한 준비 즉 프로그램의 녹화 및 사전시청 업무 등이 부담스러워 어렵다고 하였다. 국민학교 교사와 중학교 교사간에는 의의있는 반응차이를 보였는데 중학교 교사가 국민학교 교사보다 TV 교육방송 프로그램 활용을 적게하고 있었으며, 활용에 대한 태도도 더 부정적이었다. 2. 교사들은 프로그램 활용안내서의 내용이 충분한 정보제공을 하고 있지 못하다고 하였고, 프로그램 이용에 실질적인 도움을 줄 수 있도록 보다 상세하게 구성해 줄 것을 바라고 있었다. 3. 교사들은 교사들 스스로 프로그램을 녹화하는 방법은 매우 불편하다고 하였으며, 학교 자체내에 녹화를 전담할만한 요원을 확보하는 방법에 대해 매우 긍정적인 반응을 보였다.;This study is performed to investigate the attitudes of the teachers towards the utilization of television educational programs within the formal educational system. And also is to suggest the possible direction for the further development of TV educational programs in school. The following problems are studied in this research. 1. What is teachers' opinion about TV educational programs' effect on student at class? 2. What utilization system is needed to utilize TV educational programs in classroom? 3. What contents of the program guidebook are need for teachers to use the programs efficiently? 4. What method is teachers' selecting TV educatinal programs for class? 5. What difference of teacher's response between elementary school teachers and Middle school teachers? The objects of this study is 180 elementary and Middle school teachers were stratificially random-selected in Seoul. To survey teachers' responses, questionnaire was used. 180 questionnaires were distributed and 169 questionnaires were returned. The results obtained in this study are summarized as follows. 1. Teachers have comprehensive understanding and interest in the TV educational programs. But they indicated that it is difficult for them to use TV educational programs periodically. The preparence for utilizing programs, especially recording an previewing bebore using the programs in classroom makes increase the heavy burden of teachers' works. Middle school teachers show more negative attitudes than elementary school teachers as to the application of TV educational programs. 2. Teachers indicated that the contents of the program guidebook don't give sufficient imformations. Therefore guidebook should have sufficient imformations for the teachers to use the programs without any troubles. In addition to the promotion and public relation for educational broadcasting have to be done. 3. Teachers indicated that the recording programs give much inconvenience to themselves. Therefore, some alternatives have to be made to solve the problem. For example, the present broadcasting time must be adjusted for teachers to utilize them directly in classroom.
