오브제를 활용한 표현수업이 창의적 표현력에 미치는 영향

Abstract

창의·융합 시대인 현대사회에서는 개인의 창의성을 중요한 역량으로 보고 있으며, 이는 많은 지식과 정보를 획득하는 능력보다 필요한 정보를 새롭게 형성하는 창의적 사고력을 요구하는 것이다. 창의성에 대한 중요함은 학교현장에서 뿐만 아니라 현대사회의 전반적인 분야에서 강조되고 있으며, 이러한 사회적 요구에 따라 2015 개정 미술과 교육과정에서도 핵심역량으로 설정하였다. 교육부(2015)에서 제시한 2015 개정 미술과 교육과정에서는 새로운 시각으로 작품을 창조하고 미적 가치를 창출하며, 자신의 느낌과 생각을 다양한 매체를 활용하여 창의적으로 표현하는 창의·융합 능력을 제시하고 있다. 또한 다양한 방식을 활용하여 아이디어를 생각하고 주제를 탐색하고 작품의 표현방법과 제작과정을 계획하며, 작품을 표현하는 과정 속에서 매체를 탐구하여 창의적으로 제작하도록 한다. 이는 창의적인 미술교육에 대한 중요성을 인식하게 하고 다양한 표현활동을 통해, 인간에게 잠재된 수많은 가능성을 삶 속에서 자연스럽게 발현될 수 있도록 명시하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 창의성에 기초한 표현수업을 위해‘나의 일상 속 오브제 찾기 : 주위를 둘러보면’을 연구수업의 주제로 선정하였으며, 이러한 표현수업이 중학교 학생의 창의적 표현력에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것에 목적이 있다. 이를 위한 연구방법 및 절차는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 문헌 및 선행연구를 통해 오브제 미술과 창의적 표현력을 이론적으로 고찰하였다. 둘째, 서울시 강남구 소재의 S중학교 학생을 연구대상으로 선정하였다. 셋째, 오브제 미술을 중심으로 2015 개정 미술과 교육과정에 근거하여 적절한 단원을 선정하였으며, 이를 토대로 수업을 설계하고 평가계획을 마련하였다. 넷째, 오브제를 활용한 표현수업이 중학교 학생의 창의적 표현력에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 한국교육과정평가원의‘국가교육과정에 근거한 평가 기준 및 도구 개발 연구’(한국교육과정평가원, 1998)와 용재현(2008) 연구에서 사용한 창의적 표현력 검사지를 연구대상에 맞게 수정·보완 후 실험집단에게 창의적 표현력 사전검사를 실시하였다. 다섯째, 실험집단에 총 6차시의 수업을 적용한 후 창의적 표현력 사후검사를 실시하였다. 여섯째, 수집된 자료 중 창의적 표현력 사전·사후 검사 결과의 양적자료는 Stata(Stata: Software for Statistics and Data Science) Ver 15.0 프로그램을 이용하여 전산통계 처리하였으며, 실기결과물과 함께 성찰일지, 인터뷰, 관찰일지의 질적자료는 질적분석을 진행하였다. 이를 평가하고 분석한 결과를 바탕으로 오브제를 활용한 표현수업이 중학교 학생의 창의적 표현력에 미치는 효과를 검증하고 결론을 도출하였다. 이러한 연구절차에 따른 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 실험집단의 사전·사후 창의적 표현력 검사 결과를 비교해보면 창의적 표현력과 창의적 표현력의 모든 하위영역에 사후 검사 평균이 높아져 통계적으로 유의미한 결과를 보였다. 둘째, 실기결과물의 결과와 성찰일지, 인터뷰, 관찰일지를 질적분석한 결과 오브제를 활용한 표현수업은 중학교 학생의 창의적 표현력에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤음을 확인하였다. 이러한 연구 결과를 종합해볼 때, 본 연구에 참여한 실험집단의 실험 결과 창의적 표현력의 전체 하위영역 사후평균이 향상되어 통계적으로 유의미한 결과가 나타났으며, 질적분석 또한 유의미한 결과를 보였다. 이에 오브제를 활용한 표현수업이 중학교 학생의 창의적 표현력에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤음을 확인할 수 있다.;In modern society, which is the age of creativity and convergence, individual creativity is regarded as an important competence. This requires creative thinking ability to form new information more than the ability to just acquire a lot of knowledge and information. The importance of creativity is emphasized not only in the field of school but also in the whole field of modern society, and in accordance with this social trend and demand, creativity has been selected as core capacity in 2015 revised art education curriculum The 2015 revised art education curriculum presented by the Ministry of Education (2015) suggests creativity and convergence ability to create works with a new perspective, release aesthetic values, and express their feelings and ideas creatively through a variety of media. In addition, it requires them to use various methods to think about ideas, to explore themes, to plan the method of expression and production process, and to explore the media while expressing the works and produce artworks creatively. It recognizes the importance of creative art education and expresses various possibilities that human beings are able to manifest naturally in life through various expressive activities. In this regard, the study selected 'finding objet in my daily life: looking around' as the subject of the research class for expression classes based on creativity. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of these expression classes on creative expressiveness of middle school students. Research methods and procedures made for this purpose are as follows. First, through the literature and previous research, the object art and creative expression ability were examined theoretically. Second, the study selected S middle school students in Gangnam-gu, Seoul as the research subject. Third, based on the revised art curriculum of the 2015 revision centered on the object art, the appropriate unit of the subject was selected, and the lesson was designed and the evaluation plan was prepared. Fourth, in order to analyze the effect of expressive class using objects on the creative expression ability of middle school students, 'Development of Evaluation Criteria and Tools Based on National Curriculum' of the Korea Curriculum Evaluation Institute (Korea Curriculum Evaluation Institute, 1998) and the creative expression ability evaluation test used in Yong Jae-hyeon(2008) was conducted on the experimental group after the process of revision and supplement. Fifth, after applying 6 times of classes to the experimental group, post-test of creative expression was conducted. Sixth, the quantitative data of the preliminary and post-test results of the creative expression ability among the collected data were statistically measured using Stata (Stata: Software for Statistics and Data Science) Ver. 15.0 program. Qualitative data including actual performance results, observation log, interviews were analyzed with the qualitative approach. Based on the results of the evaluation and analysis, it was demonstrated that the effect of expression class using object on the creative expression ability of middle school students and the conclusion was derived. The results of the study derived from the procedure are as follows. First, when comparing the test results of the experimental group with the pre- and post-creative expressions, the post-test averages were increased in all the subscale of creative expression ability and creative expressive power, which indicating statistically significant results. Second, according to the qualitative analysis of actual results, reflection log, interview, and observation journal, it was confirmed that expression class using object was positively influencing creative expressiveness of middle school students. The results of this study revealed that the experimental group showed significant statistical results due to the improvement of the post-averaging of the total subscale of creative expression ability as well as in the qualitative analysis. In this sense, it can be confirmed that the expressive class using the object has a positive influence on the creative expressiveness of middle school students.
