스포츠 종목별 스포츠 집중력과 주의 집중력 간의 관계

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to investigate the relationship between sports concentration and attentiveness by dividing sports into types and groups. For the objective, a survey was conducted with athletes in various sports including soccer, golf, swimming and general students as a control group. The survey was conducted with total 160 students, 40 middle school, high school sports athletes and general students respectively who attend schools located in Seoul and Kyungki. Among them, 144 data were used for final analysis. SPSS 22.0 program was used for data analysis and through the program, item internal consistency reliability test, t-test, one-way ANOVA, post-test, simple correlation analysis and regression analysis were conducted. The correlation between sports concentration and attentiveness by sports type and group can be summarized as the following. First, in sports concentration difference test by sports type, statistically significant difference was shown in one of the sub-factors of sports concentration, confidence, and the whole sports concentration. In terms of confidence, it was significant in the order of swimming, golf, and in terms of the whole sports concentration, swimming scored the highest followed by soccer and golf. In terms of attentiveness by sports type, among the sub-factors of attentiveness, statistically significant difference was shown in broad external attentional focus and broad internal attentional focus. Swimming athletes were shown to have highest broad external attentional focus and general students were shown to have highest broad internal attentional focus. Second, in terms of team sports and individual sports, it was revealed that athletes who scored high in sports concentration survey showed parallel result in attentiveness which revealed significantly positive correlation between sports concentration and attentiveness. But with the control group, general students, no statistical significant correlation was shown between sports concentration and attentiveness. Third, all team sports athletes, individual sports athletes and general students showed that the groups with high sports concentration had high attentiveness compared to the group with lower sports concentration. Fourth, it was revealed that those who scored high in sub-factors of sports concentration, goal setting, attention and confidence also scored high in attentiveness. With the above result, a conclusion can be drawn that swimming is the most effective sport in enhancing sports concentration, confidence and broad external attentional focus. Besides, athletes with high sports concentration had high attentiveness and it shows that sports concentration through sports experience can contribute in improving attentiveness.;본 연구의 목적은 스포츠를 종목별 스포츠 집중력과 주의 집중력간의 관계를 규명하는 것이다. 이를 위해 축구, 골프, 수영 선수와 통제집단인 일반 학생에게 설문조사를 실시하였다. 서울·경기에 소재한 중, 고등학교 선수와 학생을 대상으로 각 40명씩 총 160명에게 설문조사를 실시하였고, 그 중 144명의 자료를 최종분석에 사용하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 22.0 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 문항간내적일관성검사, t-검정(t-test)과 사후검정, 회귀분석 등을 실시하였다. 스포츠 종목 및 집단별 스포츠 집중력과 주의 집중력간의 관계를 종합적으로 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 스포츠 종목별 스포츠 집중력은 하위요인 중 자신감에서 수영, 골프 순으로 높게 나타난다. 또한 스포츠 집중력 전체에서도 수영이 가장 높고 다음은 축구, 골프 순이다. 종목별 주의 집중력은 주의 집중력 세분요인 중 포괄적-외적주의력은 수영이 가장 높게 나타나고, 포괄적-내적주의력은 일반 학생이 가장 높다. 둘째, 팀 스포츠와 개인 스포츠의 경우 스포츠 집중력이 높은 선수들이 주의 집중력 또한 높게 나왔으며, 스포츠 집중력과 주의 집중력 간의 유의한 정적인 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타난다. 그러나 통제 집단인 일반 학생들의 스포츠 집중력에 따른 주의 집중력은 통계적으로 유의한 상관관계를 보이지 않는다. 셋째, 팀 스포츠와 개인 스포츠 선수, 일반 학생 모두 스포츠 집중력이 높은 집단이 낮은 집단에 비해 주의 집중력이 높다. 넷째, 스포츠 집중력의 하위요인인 목표설정, 주의집중, 자신감이 높으면 주의 집중력도 높다. 이러한 연구 결과로부터 스포츠 집중력, 자신감, 포괄적-외적주의력을 향상시키는데는 수영 종목이 가장 효과적이라는 결론을 내릴 수 있다. 또한 스포츠 집중력이 높은 선수들은 주의 집중력도 높은 상관관계가 있어 스포츠 경험을 통한 스포츠 집중력이 주의 집중력을 높이는 데에도 기여함을 알 수 있다. 한편 스포츠 집중력과 주의 집중력을 향상시키는데 영향을 미치는 변인은 다양할 것이므로 이에 대한 연구는 추후 과제로 한다.
