GI협동학습모형을 적용한 다문화 미술수업이 중학교 1학년의 다문화 태도에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 GI협동학습모형을 적용한 다문화 미술수업이 중학교 1학년의 다문화태도에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 데 있다. 이를 위하여 협동학습과 다문화 미술교육에 대한 이론적 고찰 및 중학교 미술과 교육과정과 교과서 분석을 바탕으로 단원을 선정하고 GI협동학습모형을 적용한 다문화 미술수업을 설계하였다. 제작한 ‘다문화 음식포장패키지 만들기’수업을 S시에 소재한 M여자중학교 1학년 학생 62명을 대상으로 적용하였으며, 전체 대상 중 31명의 실험집단에게는 총 8차시의 GI협동학습모형을 적용한 다문화 미술수업을, 31명의 통제집단에는 총 8차시의 전통적인 소집단 학습을 적용한 다문화 미술수업을 실시하였다. 다문화태도를 측정하는 도구는 김동한(2015)이 제작한 ‘다문화태도 측정 검사 설문지’를 활용하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN22.0 통계 프로그램을 사용하여 전산통계 처리하였다. 두 집단의 사전과 사후의 검사 차이를 분석한 결과, GI협동학습모형을 적용한 다문화 미술 수업이 중학교 1학년의 다문화태도에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다.;The objective of this study is to examine the effects of a multicultural art class applying the GI model on the multicultural attitude of students in the first year of middle school. To this end, this study selected chapters based on a theoretical review of cooperative learning and multicultural art education, as well as an analysis of the middle-school art curriculum and textbooks, to design a multicultural art class applying the GI model. The ‘multicultural food package-making’ class was applied to 62 students in the first year of M Girls’ Middle School in S City. For the experimental group of 31 students, a multicultural art class with the GI model, consisting of eight sessions, was applied. For the control group of 31 students, a multicultural art class based on traditional small-group learning, consisting of eight sessions, was applied. For measuring the multicultural attitude, the ‘multicultural attitude measurement and test questionnaire’ by Kim (2015) was used. And the collected data were processed using the SPSSWIN 22.0 statistical program. As a result of analyzing the differences in pre-test and post-test observations of the two groups, it was discovered that the multicultural art class applying the GI model had positive effects on the multicultural attitude of students in the first year of middle school.
