백제문화제 역사문화행렬을 통해 본 부여주민의 문화적 정체성 변화

Abstract

본 연구는 충청남도 부여주민들이 오랜 기간 동안 지역축제로 연행해 온 백제문화제의 역사문화행렬 프로그램들이 시대에 따라 변화해 온 과정에 따라 부여주민들의 문화적 정체성이 어떤 식으로 변화해 왔는지 살펴보는 데에 목적이 있다. 제Ⅰ장에서는 선행연구로 축제를 통한 지역주민의 문화적 정체성을 다룬 연구와 백제문화제에 대한 연구를 살펴보고, 부여주민의 문화적 정체성 연구를 위해 백제문화제 역사문화행렬의 프로그램 변화과정을 분석틀로 삼는 것에 대한 연구의 필요성 및 목적을 밝혔다. 제Ⅱ장에서는 백제문화제의 주요 프로그램들 중에서 역사문화행렬로 범위를 한정하는 연구의 범위를 설정하고, 방법을 설명하였다. 제Ⅲ장에서는 역사문화행렬의 시대별 고찰에 앞서 1955년에 시작된 이래 60여년이 넘게 연행되고 있는 백제문화제를 대략적으로 개관하였다. 제Ⅳ장에서는 역사문화행렬이 처음 실시된 이후 현재까지 연행되어 오는 과정에서 부여주민의 문화적 정체성이 행렬의 프로그램 변화과정에 따라 어떻게 발현되고 변화했는지를 사회적 요인과 함께 시기별로 살펴보았다. 마지막으로 제Ⅴ장에서는 연구의 결과를 다시 한 번 정리하고, 연구의 의의와 한계, 후속연구에 대한 제언을 하였다. 본 연구는 축제와 관련한 지역주민의 정체성 변화과정을 고찰한 일련의 연구들에서 한 걸음 더 나아가, 특히 축제의 개별 프로그램의 변화과정을 통한 지역주민의 문화적 정체성 연구로 의의를 가질 수 있을 것이다.;The purpose of this study is to examine the periodic change of the inhabitant cultural identity of Buyeo in Chungcheong province through the program of the History & Culture Parade in Baekje Cultural Festval. Chapter I explains the cultural identity for the local inhabitant and Baekje Cultural Festival by looking into the preceding researches. It also suggests the necessity and purpose that the process of change out of History & Culture Parade in Baekje cultural festival can be a analytical frameworks for studying cultural identity of inhabitant in Buyeo. Chapter II explains the research method after limiting its research scope to History & Culture Parade which is the representative program of Baekje Cultural festival. Chapter III overviews Baekje Cultural Festival before studying of the History & Culture Parade by periods Chapter Ⅳ examines how the cultural identity of inhabitant of Buyeo is changed and presented according to time period and social causes since the History & Culture Parade has been created. In conclusion, chapter Ⅴ summarizes the finding of this study and mentions the meaning of this study including the limits of research. Finally it proposes that next study can add more depth on this thesis. This study examines the cultural identity of local inhabitant through local festival, especially the representative program of it. It may have a meaning as the beginning of the study on the identity of local inhabitant through program of local festival.
