심상유도와 음악(Guided Imagery and Music) 중재를 적용한 연구 동향 분석

Abstract

본 연구는 심상유도와 음악(Guided Imagery and Music) 중재가 적용된 연구 중 JAMI(Journal of Association Music and Imagery)에 실린 연구 동향을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 1992년부터 2014년 까지 JAMI에 실린 총 94편의 연구 중 GIM 중재가 적용된 연구 최종 44편을 분석 대상으로 선정하였다. 분석 결과, 연구 대상은 일반 27편(61%), 성인 41편(93%)이 가장 높은 비율을 차지하였다. 연구 자료 유형은 질적 내러티브 연구 자료가 41편(93%)으로 대다수를 차지하였고, 치료 주제에서는 외상이 16편(36%)으로 가장 많이 다루어졌다. 세션 형태 분석 결과 개인 39편(88%), 전체 회기 수 10회 미만 20편(45%)으로 가장 높은 비율을 나타냈다. 사용 음악 분석 결과 음악 프로그램과 곡명을 모두 기재한 연구가 29편(66%)으로 가장 높게 나타났고 음악 프로그램 9편(20%), 곡 명 4편(9%), 미기재 2편(5%)으로 대다수의 연구가 사용음악에 대해 기재하였음을 알 수 있다. 이로써 GIM이 적용된 연구는 질적 연구와 일반인을 대상으로 한 연구가 대다수이며, 사용 음악에 대한 분석이 매우 높은 비중으로 차지하는 것으로 보아 음악 사용이 세션에서 중요한 요인으로 작용하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 또한 치료 주제에서 외상이 가장 많이 다루어지고 있는 것은 무의식과 의식차원에서 내담자의 내면을 탐색하며 치료 과정이 진행되는 GIM의 특성상 도출된 결과라 사료된다. 추후 연구에서는 GIM 중재가 지닌 음악치료 고유의 특성을 살릴 수 있는 질적 연구의 특성과 더불어 효과성에 대한 결과를 함께 제공할 수 있는 연구 방법에 대한 개발이 필요하다.;The purpose of this study was to analyze the research trend in intervention studies of Guided Imagery and Music(GIM) published in JAMI(Journal of Association Music and Imagery) from 1992 to 2014. A total of 44 studies were selected for analysis among 94 articles published in JAMI. As a result, the most studied subjects among intervention studies were general population, with no diagnosis, from 27 studies (61%) and among age groups, adults were most studied found in 41 researches (93%). In terms of research method, qualitative narrative researches account for the highest rate as 41(93%) and the therapy topic which has been most frequently dealt with was trauma as 16(36%). As the result of analyzing sessions, individual takes 39(88%) and less than 10 times of therapy session appears as 20(45%). Based on the analysis of music used for researches, 29(66%) researches record the music program and the titles of the music, 9(20%) researchesrecord the music program only, 4(9%) researches record the title of the music and 2(5%) researches do not leave any record, which shows most of the researches keep a record of music used. Based on the fact that the researches applied to GIM are mostly conducted with subjects of qualitative researches and general, and the analysis on the music used takes a high portion of the study, using music appears as an important element in sessions. With respect to its topic, the reason that trauma was the topic which was most frequently dealt with is believed to be caused by the character of GIM, which progresses its treatment through navigating clients' inner status in the dimension of conscious and unconscious. It is needed to develop the research methods which can provide the result of effectiveness along with the qualitative researches which enhances inherent characteristics of music therapy belongs to GIM for future studies.
