국내 성인지적장애인 음악치료 현황 및 중재 실행 조사

Abstract

This study examined the current state of music therapy practice for adults with intellectual disabilities (ID). The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of music therapy for adults with ID and to provide a development plan. For this purpose, a survey of music therapists was conducted. An introduction of the survey was provided by email and phone call to music therapists who have music therapy experience with adults with ID. Among 39 participants, 32 replies of people who had formal music therapy certification were included for analysis. The questionnaire was composed of 38 questions which asked about background information of the music therapist, environment and form of music therapy for adults with ID, music therapy assessment, goal establishment, intervention strategy, and difficulty of music therapy implementation. According to the result, music therapy for adults with ID was practiced in diverse centers. Enhancement of social interaction, the most frequently set goal by music therapists, was distinct from the most frequent goal setting of the centers which was emotional stabilization. This gap is assumed to be caused by distinction of functioning level among clients in therapy groups and professional decisions of the therapists. Among music activities, musical instrument performance was used the most and structure was the most frequently used music element when choosing music for therapy. According to this research, characteristics of the facility was the most considered institutional influence factor and function level was the most considered cliental influence factor upon music therapy. For advance in professionality, more music therapy assessment tools for adults with ID should be developed and more active mutual communication with the member of facility staffs is recommended.; 본 연구의 목적은 전문 음악치료사들을 대상으로 국내 성인지적장애인 대상 음악치료 임상현장 및 중재 실행을 조사하고, 성인지적장애인 대상 음악치료의 발전방안을 제시하는데 있다. 이를 위해 성인지적장애인 대상 음악치료 유경험자를 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 설문에 대한 안내를 전자우편과 전화로 제공한 후 설문 참여에 동의한 39명 가운데 정규 자격증을 취득한 음악치료사 총 32명의 응답을 분석하였다. 설문지는 음악치료사의 배경정보, 성인지적장애인 음악치료 환경, 형태, 음악치료 진단, 목표설정, 중재전략, 성인지적장애인 대상 음악치료의 어려움에 대해 묻는 문항 총 38개로 구성되었다. 설문 결과에 의하면 성인지적장애인을 대상으로 한 음악치료는 다양한 사회복지시설, 병원. 음악치료센터에서 시행되었다. 본 연구에 참여한 음악치료사들이 주로 설정된 음악치료 목표는 상호작용 향상으로 나타났는데, 음악치료가 소속된 기관의 서비스 항목인 정서 안정과 일치하지 않았다. 이런 차이에 대한 요인으로 음악치료 그룹원간 기능수준의 큰 편차와 음악치료사의 전문적 판단이 작용한 것으로 보인다. 성인지적장애인 대상 음악치료에서 상호작용 향상을 위해 가장 많이 활용된 활동은 악기연주로 나타났고, 음악치료 내에서 음악을 사용할 때 가장 많이 활용한 음악 요소는 형식으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 나타난 성인지적장애인 대상 음악치료 중재에 가장 큰 영향을 미친 기관 관련 요인은 기관의 특성이었고, 대상 관련 요인은 기능수준으로 나타났다. 성인지적장애인 대상 음악치료 중재의 전문성을 강화하기 위해, 성인지적장애인 대상 음악치료 진단도구 개발과 기관 담당자와의 원활한 소통이 요구된다.
