장기요양기관 입소노인의 기능회복을 위한 음악프로그램 조사

Abstract

본 연구는 장기요양보험제도 서비스 제공기관인 장기요양기관 중 노인요양시설과 주·야간보호서비스시설(데이케어센터)을 중심으로 입소노인의 기능회복을 위한 음악프로그램 실태에 대하여 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. 설문 문항은 음악프로그램 담당자의 정보 및 특성 10문항, 음악프로그램 실태 15문항, 음악프로그램 담당자 의견 2문항으로 구성하였다. 설문지는 전국 장기요양기관의 음악프로그램을 실행하는 기관 중 음악프로그램담당자에게 이메일 또는 우편 등으로 설문지 전달이 가능한 65기관을 선정하여 설문을 배포하였으며 그 중 총 35부가 회수되었다. 본 연구 결과에서 첫째, 장기요양기관 입소노인의 기능회복을 위한 음악프로그램 담당자 실태에서 음악치료 자격증, 지역별 분포도에 있어서 불균형 상태임을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 음악프로그램 실태 중 음악치료 목표설정은 음악치료를 전공한 정규과정을 거친 음악치료사와 그렇지 않은 비정규과정 음악치료사 간에 차이점을 볼 수 있었다. 셋째, 음악프로그램 실행 환경에서는 담당자들의 의견과 설문조사 응답내용을 분석한 결과 음악프로그램 실행 환경이 열악한 상태임을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 장기요양기관의 음악프로그램 담당자의 전문성에 따라 음악프로그램 실태내용 중 목표 설정, 음악활동 등에서 다른 결과가 나타났다. 이는 음악치료 훈련과정에 많은 차이가 있기 때문이라고 볼 수 있으며 음악프로그램 담당자의 전문성은 요양기관의 음악프로그램 서비스 질에 영향을 미칠 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. 장기요양기관에서 음악치료가 전문적인 분야로써 자리매김을 하려면 음악프로그램 실행 환경에 대한 개선 뿐 만 아니라 일관된 기준으로 음악치료를 교육받은 검증된 전문음악치료사들이 현장에서 일할 수 있는 시스템 마련을 위한 노력이 필요할 것이다. 이를 위해 앞으로 국가적으로 통합된 음악치료 자격증 제도가 실현되기를 기대한다.; The purpose of this study is to investigate the reality of music program for functional recovery offered to elderly admitted in elderly nursing facilities and daytime · night care centers (daycare center) among the long-term care centers providing the long-term care insurance service. The survey questionnaire comprises 10 questions on information and characteristics of music program manager, 15 questions on the reality of music program and 2 questions on opinions from music therapists. The survey was distributed via e-mail or postal mail to 65 long-term nursing care centers currently providing the music program and 35 of 65 distributed questionnaires were collected. As a result of this study, first, the music therapist qualifications for music program offered to elderly admitted in a long-term care center for their functional recovery, and the regional distribution of music therapists were shown to be imbalance. Second, the difference in the goal of music therapy was observed between the music therapists majored in music therapy through the regular courses and the music therapists without going through the regular courses. Third, the environment for offering the musical program was shown to be poor from the responses and opinions collected from the music therapists. The different results in goal settings and musical activities were drawn from the reality of musical program upon the characteristics and professionalism of music therapists at the long-term nursing care centers, and this was considered to be resulted from the difference in the training courses for music therapy. From the results of this study, the professionalism of therapist is considered to impact the quality of music program service offered in the nursing care center. Therefore, the efforts are needed to build a system for the qualified music therapists who have educated and proved through the consistent music therapy courses to work in the practical field in order for them to settle down as the professional sector. Thus, it is expected to realize the nationally integrated musical therapist qualification system in a near future.
