아동화와 원시회화의 유사성에 관한 비교 연구

Abstract

어린이 그림에 나타난 순수성이란 교육받지 않은 상태, 인간 본능에 의한 표현을 의미한다. 따라서 어린이의 그림은 원시적이라고 표현할 수 있다. 원시적이란 인간본능에 입각한 행동이다. 인간본능은 감정이 앞서고 자칫 비과학적일 수도 있다. 어린이들의 그림형태가 비과학적인 것은 원시성때문이다. 원시회화에 나타난 순수성이란 본능적인 미적활동에서 찾아볼 수 있다는 점으로 볼 때 원시회화는 생에 대한 본능적인 욕구에서 이해되어야 한다. 이러한 원시회화를 이해하기 위해 우리는 흔히 오늘날의 어린이의 성장단계를 통하여 추측해 보지만 이를 통하여 원시회화를 이해하기는 매우 어려운 일이다. 그러므로 어린이 그림과 원시회화를 비교하는 것은 현명한 방법이 아니지만, 그것에는 어떠한 유사성이 존재한다. 예를 들면 우리들은 종종 동굴의 벽면 표면에 펼쳐 있는 평행선이 어린이가 벽위에 제멋대로 그어 놓은 것과 매우 유사함을 볼 수 있다. 또 "페슈메르"동굴의 천정에 있는 난해한 낙서의 흔적이 어린이의 표현과 유사하게 나타났음을 알 수 있다. 교육이 없기에 발전이 없고 연구가 없기에 기교가 없는 것도 아동화와 원시회화에서는 유사하다는 결론이 예상된다. 그러나 아동화와 원시회화에는 숨김없는 아름다움이 있고 호소하는 소리가 들어 있으며 흘러넘치는 생명력이 들어 있다. 아동화와 원시회화에는 예술성은 내포되어 있지 않지만 인간의 마음을 찌르는 힘을 갖고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 아동화의 의미와 일반적인 특징을 살펴보고 미술을 통한 아동의 발달 단계를 살펴보았다. 그리고 원시회화의 일반적인 의미와 미학적인 해석을 살펴봄으로써 아동화와 유사점을 발견하였다. 본 연구는 선이나 소재, 구도에 있어서 아동화와 원시회화의 유사성을 비교 분석하였다. 그리고 현대 추상화가 P·Klee의 작품에서 느껴지는 어린이의 순수성 및 원시성도 함께 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 아동화와 원시회화의 주된 표현 요소가 선임을 발견하게 되었고, 그들에게는 원근법이 없으며 먼 곳은 위에, 가까운 곳은 아래부분에 표현하는 유사성이 발견되었다. 또 여러 방향에서 본 물체를 한 화면에 표현하는 특징의 유사성도 발견하게 되었다. 그들은 중심되는 것을 크게 표현하고 부수적인 것은 작게 표현하는 특징도 지니고 있었다. 아동화와 원시회화에는 순수성이란 유사점을 지니고 있으며 그 순수성 속에는 원시성을 찾게되는 무한의 세계를 볼 수 있음을 알았다. 뿐만 아니라 어린이가 교육을 받기 시작하고 , 원시인이 그들 나름대로의 주술적인 종교이면을 갖게 되면서 부터 순수성은 점차 사라지게 됨도 발견하였다. 그러므로 아동화와 원시회화를 비교 분석하기 위해서는 시간의 제한, 연구 범위의 제한이 필요하다.;In these regards, primary art must be considered as a primitive desire for the life. Today we usually watch children's growth in order to under to understand the primary art. However it is very hard to understand vitality this. Therefore there is an excellent similarity in comparision with children's drawing and primary art even though it is not a good way. For example we can easily find great similarity between parell line an clay in cave and parell line children draw on the wall arbitrarily. Also we can see similarity in trace of scribbing on ceiling of "Pech Merle" cave with children's express. In other words, children's drawing is primitive. That means primitive is an act depending on primitive desire. Nature is somewhat emotional and it can be also unscientific. We can explain unscientific children's drawing type on the point of primitiveness. We can expect the conclusion that is also same between children's art and primary art there is no development without education and there is no techic without study, either. However children's drawing and primary art have pure beauty and persusive voice, in addition, they have vitality. Even though they are lack of artistic nature, they have a power. In this respect, I encompass the meaning of children's art and children's growth through art and study similarity between children's art and primary art in a type of expess. And we can feel children's pureness in the art of Paul Klee. In result, I have been know, children's art and primitive art is similarity, and it is pureness. the pure showed us primitive seek for limitless world. It has been disappear, when children be educaited, the primary have a religion. Therefore the study of comparision with children's art and primitive art needed limits of time, limits of the study.
