선호 노래에 대한 학령기 아동과 음악치료 전공생의 인식도 비교 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 아동이 선호하는 노래와 음악치료 전공생이 예상하는 아동의 선호 노래의 일치 정도를 알아보고 그 차이의 정도를 확인함으로써 음악치료 전공생들이 아동 임상에서 선호 노래를 파악하고 선곡하는데 유의해야 할 음악적 정보가 무엇인지 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울특별시, 대전광역시, 울산광역시에 거주하고 있는 초등학교 1학년 이상 6학년 이하의 아동과 서울특별시, 경기도에 위치하고 있는 음악치료 대학원의 전공생을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 조사 결과로 첫째, 저학년, 고학년 아동 모두 장르 중 가요를 가장 선호 하였으며 음악치료 전공생이 예상한 저학년 아동 선호 장르는 동요로 나타났다. 이에 실제 저학년 아동이 선호하는 노래 장르와 음악치료 전공생이 예상한 저학년 아동의 선호 장르 간에 차이를 보여주었다. 둘째, 저학년 아동은 노래의 선호 요인으로 가사에서 가장 높은 비율을 보였으며 멜로디, 음색, 분위기 등의 순으로 선호 요인을 나타내었다. 고학년 아동은 노래의 선호 요인으로 멜로디에서 가장 높은 비율이 나타났으며 분위기, 음색, 가사 등의 순으로 선호 요인을 나타내었다. 반면 음악치료 전공생이 예상한 아동의 노래 선호 요인은 ‘유행하는 노래’가 현저히 높은 선호 요인으로 나타났다. 이에 아동이 선호하는 노래의 선호 요인과 음악치료 전공생이 예상한 아동의 노래 선호 요인 간에 차이를 보여주었다. 결과적으로 아동이 선호하는 노래와 음악치료 전공생이 예상하는 아동 선호 노래 간의 차이를 나타내 보이고 있다. 이러한 결과는 음악치료 전공생에게 아동 선호 노래에 대한 음악적 정보를 제공하여 줌으로써 아동 임상에서 내담자에게 맞는 적절한 노래를 파악하고 선곡하는데 유용한 자료가 됨을 시사한다. ;The purpose of this paper was to examine the coincidence between the songs that children prefer and the songs that the music therapy students expected to be chosen. Furthermore, this paper provided what the students should give heed when they select songs for music therapy sessions for children. The results of the study were as follows: First, both lower and higher grader children’s favorite songs were K-pop. However, the music therapy students expected lower grader children would be children’s songs; Second, the reason why lower graders liked the songs was because of their lyrics followed by melody, timbre and mood. Also, melody got the highest percentage among preference factors by higher graders followed by mood, tones and lyrics. On the other hand, the music therapy students thought that children chose them because they were popular. This clearly showed that there was a gap between the children’s choices and music therapy students’. Those results provide us the basic musical information of songs which children like, and help music therapy students to choose the right songs for their therapy sessions for children.
