음악치료 대학원생의 치료사 역량 훈련 필요성 인식 조사

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 치료사 역량 훈련에 대한 음악치료 대학원생의 훈련 현황과 필요성 인식을 조사하기 위함이며 음악기술영역, 학술 영역, 경험적 훈련 영역에 대해 조사를 시행하였다. 조사 결과를 토대로 개인의 음악적, 교육적 배경에 따라 훈련 필요성에 차이를 보이는지 파악하고 현재 실시하고 있는 훈련 현황과 훈련 필요성이 일치하는지 알아보았다. 국내 5개 음악치료 대학원의 석사학위 재학생 중 인턴학기를 제외한 142명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며 총 136부를 분석하였다. 사용된 측정도구의 내적일관성을 살펴보기 위하여 Cronbach's α 계수를 산출하였으며, 수집한 자료는 SAS 9.2 프로그램을 사용하여 각 연구문제에 따라 빈도분석, 기술통계, 카이제곱검정을 실시하였다. 음악치료 대학원생들은 모든 훈련 영역에서 높은 필요성을 나타냈다. 훈련 필요성을 높게 인식한 영역은 학술영역(4.01)이었으며, 그 중 대상군의 장애 및 질병에 대한 심화된 이론 습득 훈련(4.53) 평균 점수가 가장 높았다. 음악 기술 영역(4.01)은 기타 훈련(4.29), 경험적 훈련 영역(3.98)은 재학 중 음악치료서비스를 받는 것(4.4)에 대한 필요성을 높게 인식하였다. 각 영역의 필요성을 개인적 배경에 따라 비교 한 결과, 학부 음악 전공이 비전공보다 모든 영역에서 높게 나타났으며 하위 문항으로는 성악 훈련, 대상군에 대한 심화 이론 습득 훈련이 유의미한 결과를 보였다. 특히 작곡, 피아노, 성악으로 세부 전공 비교 한 결과 다른 전공과 달리, 피아노 전공은 비전공자에 비해 관련 음악기술인 건반 기술에 대해 더 높은 필요성이 나타났다. 실제 훈련 내용을 살펴보면 음악기술에서 기타와 피아노 훈련, 학술영역에서 워크숍 및 특강, 경험적 훈련 영역에서 GIM, MI 훈련들이 조사되었고, 실제 모든 영역 훈련에 대한 높은 필요성 인식에 비하여 훈련 현황 비율은 낮은 것으로 조사되었다. 이러한 결과들은 음악치료 대학원생이 인식하는 치료사 역량 훈련을 위한 추가 훈련 필요성 및 현황에 대한 기초 자료를 제공함으로써, 개인의 역량에 따른 음악치료사 교육 및 훈련의 중요성을 제시하는데 의미를 갖는다.;The purpose of this paper was to examine the need of additional training, in to the regular music therapy curriculum, for graduate students who were majoring in music therapy. The categories were musical technique area, academic area and experiential training area. Also, we analyzed if individual's musical or educational background would lead the difference in the need of the training and if the current training met the need. The total of 142 graduate student, who were studying music therapy in the South Korea, completed questionnaires, and 136 were analyzed by SAS 9.2 program using frequency analysis, descriptive statistics and χ²(Chi-square). The results of the study were as follows: The students answered what they needed the most was training on academic area(4.01) such as the knowledge on patients' diseases(4.53); They also replied that they wanted to learn how to play the guitar(4.29) in musical technique area(4.01) and receive music therapy during the school years(4.4) as a part of experiential training(3.98); The students, majored in music in their undergraduate schools, showed their higher needs in every area compared to others. Those results provide us that the information on the need of the students' additional training which strengthens students' capability as music therapists. Furthermore, the data show the importance of education and training based on individual's performance.
