창의적 체험활동 통합집단 동아리의 인성과 창의성 향상을 위한 음악치료 프로그램 개발

Abstract

This thesis aims to develop a music therapy program to improve students' personality and creativity in a “Creative Activity” group, which consists of both disabled and non-disabled students in the range of fifth to sixth grade. The developed program applied to ten students in a “Creative Activity” group, and approval was obtained by all of the students. With the purpose of improving students’personality and creativity, the developed program proposed ten detailed plans per each semester, making a total of twenty plans to help the program be performed systematically and continuously. The distinct features of this program were as follows: 1) Improvement of personality and creativity was set for the purpose of the first(personality) and the second(creativity) semesters, respectively. 2) Subordinate purposes were then set covertly and overtly, and specific activities were developed accordingly to achieve both covert and overt goal with an educational perspective. 3) A variety of musical activities (e.g. chorus, ensemble, listening, improvisation, etc.) were proposed for both disabled and non-disabled students in the group. In order to test the validity of the program, two music teachers in special-education school and two teachers in regular school, teaching both disabled and non-disabled students in one class, were asked to review the program twice. All of the four teachers had either a master degree in music therapy or were in the fifth semester of the master in music therapy program. Based on the feedback from four teachers the program was modified and elaborated. The teachers rated the program in several different categories. Two music teachers in special-education school rated the material preparation the highest (5.0 out of 5.0), the creative activity and the suitability (4.5 out of 5.0) the second, and the time management (3.5 out of 5.0) the third, respectively. Two school teachers rated the material preparation and the creative activity the highest (5.0 out of 5.0), the suitability the second (4.5 out of 5.0), the time management and the applicability the third (4.0 out of 5.0), and the level of difficulty for non-music therapist teachers the fourth (3.5 out of 5.0), respectively. Thus, the time management and the level of difficulty for non-music therapist teachers were mainly modified. The present study emphasized the development of music therapy program, and excluded its application to an actual class in school. However, the effect of this program has been confirmed through the music therapists’ intensive reviews twice. From year 2013 “Creative Activity” will be included in the regular curriculum for the fifth and sixth grade students. Therefore, the developed program could be used as a tool for a group with the purpose of improving students’creativity for both disabled and non-disabled students. Furthermore, it is the hope that this program has a positive effect on integrated education in regular school as a novel and creative attempt.;본 연구는 일반학교 안에서 장애학생과 비장애 학생의 흥미와 적성에 맞는 창의적 체험활동 통합집단 동아리를 대상으로, 인성과 창의성 향상을 위해 시행할 수 있는 음악치료 프로그램을 개발하고 타당도를 검증하고자 하였다. 동아리 구성원은 5~6학년에 재학 중인 총 10명 내외의 장애학생과 비장애 학생이며 모든 구성원이 창의적 체험활동 동아리 시간에 통합집단 음악치료 프로그램 안에서 활동하기를 희망할 것을 원칙으로 하였다. 창의적 체험활동 통합집단 동아리를 대상으로 개발된 음악치료 프로그램은 인성과 창의성 향상이라는 목표에 도달하기 위해 단계적이고 연속적인 활동이 이루어질 수 있도록 연간운영계획을 수립하고 학기별 10회씩 총 20회의 회기별 계획을 제시하였다. 본 연구의 결과로 개발된 음악치료 프로그램의 특징은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 창의적 체험활동의 궁극적 목적인 인성(1학기)과 창의성(2학기) 향상을 각각 학기별 목적으로 설정하고 그에 따른 각 회기별 하위 목표을 설정하여 적합한 활동을 계획하였다. 둘째, 회기별 목표를 내적(covert)과 외적(overt)으로 나누어 교육적 측면에서 추구하는 내재적 동기와 외재적 동기를 모두 달성시키고자 하였다. 셋째, 통합집단 동아리 내에서 장애학생과 비장애 학생이 함께 참여할 수 있는 다양한 음악활동(가창, 기악, 감상, 창작 등)을 구성하였다. 개발된 음악치료 프로그램은 음악치료 석사과정을 졸업하였거나 5학기에 재학 중인 특수학교 음악교사 2명, 일반학교 통합학급 담임으로서 음악치료 석사과정 5학기에 재학 중인 교사 2명에게 두 차례에 걸쳐 검증을 의뢰한 후 피드백을 받아서 내용을 수정하고 보완하는 과정을 거쳤다. 특수학교 음악교사들은 자료준비상황의 측면에서 모두 5.0점을 주어 가장 높은 배점을 하였고, 창의적 체험활동 목표와의 부합성 및 활동 적합성 측면에서 4.5점, 시간운영의 방식에서는 가장 낮은 3.5점의 배점을 하였다. 일반학교 통합학급 담임교사들은 자료준비상황과 창의적 체험활동 목표와의 부합성 측면에서 5.0점을 주어 가장 높은 배점을 하였고, 회기별 목표에 따른 활동 적합성 측면에서 4.5점, 시간운영의 방식 및 실제 프로그램 활용 가능성 측면에서 4.0점, 음악치료사가 아닌 통합학급 담임교사의 이해난이도 측면에서는 평균 3.5점으로 가장 낮은 배점을 주었다. 따라서 회기별 80분의 시간운영 방식을 조정하고 일반학교 통합학급 담임교사의 이해난이도를 쉽게 하는 부분에 중점을 두어 수정하고 보완하였다. 본 연구에서는 음악치료 프로그램의 개발까지로 그 범위를 한정하였기 때문에 실제 학교 현장에서의 적용 후 결과는 포함하지 않은 대신, 전문가를 통한 두 차례의 프로그램 검증을 통해 타당도가 있음을 확인하였다. 따라서 2013학년도부터 창의적 체험활동 교육과정이 초등학교 5~6학년을 대상으로 적용되면서 통합집단 동아리를 조직하고 운영함에 있어서 효율적으로 활용할 수 있을 것이다. 더불어 일반학교 내에서 장애학생과 비장애 학생의 통합교육을 위한 신선하고 창의적인 시도로서 그 긍정적인 효과를 기대할 수 있을 것이다.
