미술교육에서 미술치료적 접근에 관한 연구 동향 분석

Abstract

In today's fast-paced modern society, human psychology and emotional problems are further increased, and therefore the need for counseling and psychotherapy and the need is also increasing. Education in recent school violence issues related to students' emotions, suicide, depression, behavioral disorders, including psychological and emotional problems are posed by the pathology has emerged. Accordingly, the practical measures taken in education, and emotional toughness, and is focusing on education. Arts education part of the student's emotional and have a deep relationship, and in particular art in itself pose a therapeutic function, and because hearing the student's psychological and emotional problems and further training to practice before the course is essential. The Art Education and Art Therapy as a background close relationship between the Graduate School of Education, Training and the Art Therapy has been the study of therapeutic approaches. In this study, now in the Art Therapy Approach to the Graduate School of Education survey of research trends, and provide direction for future research investigate. Art Therapeutic approaches to research, this study examined the views of the trends for 2000 to 2011 published in Art Education and Art Therapy for Major Major of the paper, National Electronic Library and the Korea Education & Research Information collected in the Master's Thesis, Ch 148 were studied. In other words, status in the field study, research, information and methods, such as treatment effect investigated in detail based on a careful study to determine the current status and research needs, and based on this, we have more in-depth study should be done to help .;오늘날 급변하는 현대사회 속에서 인간의 심리·정서적 문제가 더욱 증가하고 있으며, 이에 따라 상담 및 심리치료에 대한 요구와 필요성 또한 증가하고 있다. 최근 교육현장에서도 학교폭력과 관련한 학생들의 정서문제, 자살, 우울증, 행동장애 등의 심리, 정서적 병리 현상들로 인한 문제들이 부각되고 있다. 이에 따라 교육에서도 실제적인 대책을 강구하고 있으며, 인성 및 정서교육에 대해 주목하고 있다. 예술교육은 학생의 정서적 부분과 깊은 연관성을 가지고 있고, 특히 미술은 그 자체로서 심리 치료적 기능을 내포하고 있기 때문에, 학생들의 심리 및 정서문제를 해결하고 나아가 전인교육을 실천하는데 필수적인 과목이다. 이러한 미술교육과 미술치료 간의 밀접한 연관성을 배경으로 교육대학원에서는 미술치료교육과 치료적 접근에 관한 연구를 해오고 있다. 본 연구에서는 지금까지 교육대학원에서의 미술치료적 접근연구의 동향을 조사하고, 앞으로의 연구방향에 대하여 고찰해 보고자하였다. 본 연구는 미술 치료적 접근연구의 동향을 알아보기 위해 2000년부터 2011년까지 발표된 미술교육전공과 미술치료관련 전공의 논문 중, 국회전자도서관 및 한국교육학술정보원에 소장된 석사학위 논문 148편을 대상으로 하였다. 연구주제, 연구방법 및 연구도구, 연구대상, 연도별 연구 통계의 4가지 항목을 기준으로 조사하여 그 결과를 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구주제 측면에서는 교육적 차원에서 접근이 용이한 자아성장을 주제로 한 연구가 주로 이루어지고 있었다. 둘째, 연구방법 및 연구도구별 동향을 살펴보면, 연구방법은 전체 연구의 절반 이상의 비율로 사례연구가 많고, 세부적으로는 사례연구 중 통합적연구가 가장 많았다. 연구도구는 투사검사에서 집·나무·사람검사(House-Tree-Person ; HTP), 객관검사에서 특수목적을 위한 기타 검사도구가 가장 많이 사용되는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 연구대상 측면에서는, 다른 학교급의 대상보다 연구 접근이 용이한 초등학생을 대상으로 한 연구가 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 연도별 연구수를 살펴보면, 2003년 이후로 평균적인 연구량이 증가하는 모습을 보이다가 2009년에 급격히 줄었으나, 2010년 이후 2011년에는 다시 급격히 증가하고 있다. 전체적으로 보면 2000년부터 2011년 동안의 미술치료관련 연구는 대체로 증가하고 있다고 볼 수 있다. 앞선 연구결과를 종합한 미술교육에서 치료적 접근연구에서의 향후 연구 방향에 대한 제언은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 미술치료적 고찰 및 이론 연구를 더 활발히 이루어, 연구의 균형적이고 체계적인 기반을 다져야 한다. 둘째, 미술교육에서 미술치료적 접근에 대한 연구들이 구체적으로 어떠한 질적인 발전을 이루고 있는지에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 더 세부적인 기준을 설정하여 연구의 효과성, 타당성, 적합성에 대해 향후 더욱 면밀한 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다. 이를 바탕으로 질적으로 더욱 깊이있고, 미술교육적으로 적합한 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다. 본 연구는 제한된 범위 내에서 이루어진 한계점을 가지고 있기 때문에 더 다각적이고 세부적인 기준에서 연구된 현황조사가 보충되어야 하겠다. 즉, 현장에서의 연구실태, 연구 내용 및 방법, 치료효과와 같은 세부적인 기준에서 조사된 연구로 현 실태를 면밀히 파악하는 연구가 요구되며, 이를 토대로 앞으로 더욱 심도있는 연구가 이루어질 수 있도록 해야 할 것이다.
