인터넷 활용 교육에서의 학습자 평가 연구

Abstract

인터넷상에서의 다양한 형태의 교육이 급속히 확산되면서 교육적으로 얼마나 성과가 있는지 혹은 이러한 형태와 교육들이 교육 본래의 가치와 목작에 기반하여 설계되며, 실행되고 있는지 의문시되고 있다. 이러한 문제의식을 바탕으로 본 연구자는 인터넷을 활용한 교육 환경의 학습자 평가의 측면을 주목하였다. 즉, 교육의 성과를 밝히기 위해서는 학습자에 대한 평가가 이루어져야한다. 또한 학습의 향상을 위해서도 학습자 평가는 중요하다. 물론 현재 여러 형태의 인터넷을 활용한 교육에서는 학습자 평가가 수행되고 있기는 하다. 그러나, 이 평가들은 전통교육 환경에서의 평가모형을 교육적 고찰에 의한 변형 없이 인터넷활용교육 환경에 적용하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 인터넷활용교육의 교육적 특징을 분석하여, 이 새로운 환경에 적합한 학습자 평가모형을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 다음과 같은 연구 및 조사가 이루어졌다. 첫째, 학습자 평가에 대한 다양한 이론 및 방법을 고찰함으로서 새롭게 구축할 학습자 평가모형이 교육의 기본 철학과 목표, 원리에 충실할 수 있도록 하였다. 둘째. 여러 학습이론에 비추어 본 인터넷활용교육에서의 학습자 학습 유형을 분석하고, 이 유형에 따른 학습 성취도에 대한 선행 조사 및 연구를 고찰하였다. 셋째, 새로운 평가모형이 해결해야 할 문제점이 무엇인지를 밝히기 위하여 현재 운영중인 한국과 외국의 가상대학의 시험 방법 및 평가 도구 현황조사를 실시하였다. 이로부터, 인터넷활용교육에서의 학습자 평가에서 고려해야 하는 학습자 유형을 파악하였다. 넷째, 인터넷활용교육에서의 학습 매체의 특징, 학습자 학습활동, 평가 자료, 평가 방법, 평가 도구가 될 수 있는 것들을 조사, 분석하였다. 마지막으로 앞서 행한 사전 조사 및 연구를 바탕으로 인터넷활용교육에서의 학습자 평가 모형을 구축하였다. 그리고 이 모형에 입각한 학습자 평가 시스템 모형을 설계하여 실제 시스템 구축 시 지침이 될 수 있도록 제안하였다.;As the various styles of education on the Internet are spread rapidly, it is doubted that those are constructed and executed on the basis of genuine value and purpose of education. It is also questioned that those can make fruitful results in consideration of educational effect. Keeping these questions in mind, I focused on the students evaluation in the educational conditions on the Internet. In other words, to figure out the result of education, students evaluation is also important, not to mention students' improvement in learning. However, these evaluations are applied to the Internet Based Education without transformation of evaluation model in traditional education circumstances, which might be done by educational consideration. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the educational characteristics of Internet Based Education and presents the new model of Student Evaluation. To figure out the problems the new evaluation model has to solve, at first the evaluation methods and tools of both domestic and foreign Virtual Universities were surveyed. Second, the students' learning styles on the Internet Based Education based on the students' learning theories were analyzed and pre-researched. This suggests some different learning styles to be considered for student evaluation in Intemet Based Education. Third, the evaluation methods, tools, information and students' feedbacks are researched and analyzed. Forth, through these research, the Student Evaluation Model on the Internet Based Education is constructed. And, the model of Student Evaluation System on the Internet Based Education is designed.
