중학교 추상화 지도방안 연구

Abstract

Now as in the past, traditional middle school are educations demand that students exhibit certain skills, and necessarily so. However the majority of educators are still demanded that students recreate a piece of art work exactly as presented in the class. The aforementioned method of teaching has created problems for art education in general according to a number of dissertations. Research shows that the traditional method of beaching may teach artistic discipllne, but inhibits and stifles the student's creativity, It also limits his ability to use his imagination and to grow as an artist. For the bright and sensitive middle school student, whose innate artistic talent is ver limited, this method of learning is often very discouraging and causes feeling of inadequacy. I have developed a method of teaching abstract painting that helps students to expand on their artistic potential through the use of their own imagination, sensitivity, and childhood experiences. Two middle school art classes participated in a comaparison study which was to measure ,student interest and understanding of abstract painting. Group I studied abstract art while group II studies the more traditional forms fo painting. The following results were obtained from this study: 1. Students studying the basic concepts of abstract art were able to express themselves in a variety of artistic ways. 2. By understanding the basis of abstract art, students were able to appreciate the art work of others and to verbalize their understanding. 3.By practising abstract painting, some students gained confidence in their own artistic ability. Abstract art is not an exact art. It allows students to see what they choose and to feel less inhibited by artistic structure. Thus the teaxhing of abstract art will build student self confience. By allowing students the freedom to experiment and express their own creativity students are able to tap their heretofore undeveloped imagination and artistic talents.;중등학교 미술 교육과정은 회화의 분야에서 과거와 같이 묘사 위주의 기능교육이 주로 실시되고 있으며, 현대가 요구하고 있는 회화의 한 양상인 추상화 교육이 바람직하게 실시되고 있지 못하다. 감수성이 예민한 중학교 학생들에게 학생 개개인이 가지고 있는 조형능력을 어떠한 방법을 통하여 새롭게 발전시킬 수 있는가를 중요시하고 일부 논문을 통하여 학교교육의 문제점을 찾아본다. 이를 ·위하여 조형요소와 원리, 지각을 통한 창의적 이미지 발상을 위해서 성장과정에서의 모든 경험과 상상력 지각적 감수성과 타고난 잠재 능력을 최대한 발휘하도록 새로운 학습방법으로 지도의 방향점을 제시한다. 여중 1학년을 대상으로 조형이론을 중심으로한 실험반 학생들과 묘사 위주의 비교반 학생들을 대상으로 추상화 이해 및 흥미도 검사를 한다. 그 결과 이와같은 미술지도방법은 조형의 기초적 기능훈련과 습득으로 자기표현 방법을 다양화 시킬 수 있으며 감상과정에서 조형 원리를 찾고 이해함으로써 자기표현의 합리적 체계를 세울 수 있다. 더 나아가서 묘사력을 통하여 표현하기를 좋아하지 않는 학생에게도 조형의 기초연습을 도입함으로 해서 만족할 만한 돌파구를 발견할 수 있도록 하였다. 이를 좀 더 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 중학교를 중심으로 한 학교 미술지도에 있어서 조형적 감각을 예민하게 하고 새로운 회화표현의 다양성을 모색하기 위하여 표현교육으로 눈에 보이는 대로 그리는 것 외에 아는 것, 즉 자기의 의사, 지각을 순수한 선과 면으로 표현할 수 있다. 2. 창의적이고 새로운 회화표현의 지도방안을 제시하기 위한 이번실험 연구는 학생의 다양한 학습활동을 강조하는 것으로서, 수업을 진행하는 과정에서 학생들의 적극적인 수업참여와 진행 그리고 흥미와 관심을 가지고 있고 남의 작품을 존중하는 태도는 청년기부터 인격형성에 기초가 되는 것임을 알게 되었다. 3. 또한 학생들의 미적 경험이나 흥미를 중심으로 조형요소에 대한 본질적 개념을 이해하는 표현활동으로 개선해 다가야 할 것이며 학교교육에서 소홀히 다루는 일이 있어선 안 되겠다고 생각한다.
