실업계 고등학교 미술교육에 대한 분석연구

Abstract

미술이 생산활동으로 인식되어지는 현 기계시대에 중등교육은 모든 직업적 방향으로 전문적인(기술적인) 미적 교육의 기본적인 수준으로 구성되야 바람직 하리라 보며, 실업계 고등학교 미술교육의 교과과정인 「상업미술」이 학생들에게 보다 효율적인 학습이 이루어지도록 학생과 일선 교사들의 측면에서 그 문제점을 분석해 보고자 했다. 연구방법은 이론적인 배경의 문헌연구와 실행연구에 나타난 미술교육의 문제점을 종합 분석하고, 그것을 토대로 질문지를 작성하여 연구대상인 실업계 고등학교 학생들과 일선교사들에게 실시하였다. 대상 선정은 류층표집에 의한 분류로서 서울과 인천시의 실업계 고등학교 540명(각 학교 1학급 60명 기준)의 현재 1, 2학년 학생을 대상으로 하였다. 실업계 고등학교에서 상업미술 교과에 대한 학생들의 질문지 응답에 나타난 흥미변화 반응과 일선에서 상업미술을 담당한 미술교사들의 지도상의 문제점 등을 분석 연구하였더니 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있었다. 1. 상업미술 교과에 대한 학생들의 흥미변화 실업계 고등학교 교과과정이 전문성이 있는 상업미술 위주로 설정되어 소질에 대한 인식과 자신의 소질유무 판단이 미술교과에 흥미변화를 일으키는 중요한 요인이 되고 있다. 2. 미술 담당 교사의 지도상에 의한 요인 지도교사의 수업진행 방법 교과과정 학생에 대한 관심도 평가에 대한 신뢰도에 따라 학생들은 미술교과에 대한 흥미도가 결정된다. 3. 상업미술 교과과정에 대한 요인 미술시간에 진행되는 지도내용에 있어 이론과 실기의 비중, 실생활과의 연관성 교과내용의 진도 교과서 활용도 교재의 합리화 영역별 분포도에 따라 흥미변화를 갖게 한다. 이는 곧 현행 미술과 교과과정 및 교과서의 불합리, 학생의 학습능력, 미술교과의 영향력, 미술학습을 위한 시설, 교재들의 흥미변화 요인이 되는 동시에 실업계 고등학교 미술교육의 문제점이라고 분석되었다. 따라서 이러한 문제의 개선보완이 이루어 졌을 때 학생들의 미술과목에 대한 흥미도는 높아질 것이고 미술교육의 목표 달성도 가능하리라 믿는다. 이 연구가 실업계 고등학교 학생들의 미술지도에 다소나마 기여할 수 있는 계기가 되었으면 하는 마음 간절하다.;In this modern society of mechanism, where they have regarded art as a means or activity of production, the secondary school of art education is desirable to be organized of fundamental level in its vocational and aesthetic education. In this respect, this research has analyzed the problems between the students and teachers in charge, for the purpose of more effective studying for the students of "commercial art" as a subject of vocational high school art education. In the respect of the method of the research, it has been analysed of documentary study in the background of the theory and the problems of art education, which is appeared in the preceding study. And in accordance with the analysis, we have made "enquete" and tried both the high school students and the teachers in charge, of the vocational school, otherwise, by discretion, we have tried the 540 personnel (60 personnel in each class) of the first or second grade students now attending at the vocational High schools Art & education both in Seoul and Inchon. As a result of the analyzing and studying the effect of interest alteration on the subject of commercial art for the vocational high school students and the problems in teaching the subject of commercial art of the teachers in charge we can summarize as follows. 1. Students' interest alteration as for the subject of commercial art: Since commercial art has been established as the staple and significant professional subject in the vocational high school, the understandings of the temperament and the judgement whether he has the quality or not mainly causes the alteration of interest of art subject. 2. Significant cause due to the leadership of the teacher in charge of art: The interest to art of the students is depended upon the way of class mood or the progress of the teacher in charge, interest of the teacher to the students and the reliance to evaluation. 3. Factor pertaining to the subject of commercial art: The alternation of interest to the subject is remarkable influenced upon the contents of guidance in art class, the importance relative theory to exercise, relations to real life, developement of the contents of the subject, the practical use of the text book, rationalization of teaching materials, range of each field. Therefore, by the analysis, we have the factors for students' interest alteration to art at the same time the problems of irrationality both in current art subject and in the text book, studying capacity of student, influence of art subject, facilities and teaching materials for art studying and so on, in the vocational high school art education. In this connection, an improvement and supplement for such problems is necessary for increasing student's interest to art subject, at the same time, for the achievement of art education In a conclusion, I would believe this research will offer a remarkable opportunity to devote to outstanding schievement of art education for the vocational high school students.
