韓國의 패션 일러스트레이션 敎育實態에 관한 연구

Abstract

衣生活分野 學生들의 大學卒業 後의 進路를 學界와 産業界, 기타 등으로 分類해 볼때 오늘의 學校敎育이 學界進出에는 큰 문제점이 없으나 産業界進出에는 많은 문제점이 있다. 따라서 大學에서는 專門知識에 對한 理論과 실기를 습득함은 물론이려니와 패션산업계에서 발휘될 수 있는 專門的 知識과 技術能力을 갖도록 교육시킬 수 있는 體系가 확립되어야 할 것이다. 즉 패션産業에 종사하려면 디자인, 패션 일러스트레이션, 패턴製作등의 기술습득과 함께, 부분 봉제 등의 基礎的 能力이 필요하다. 이중에서 패션 일러스트레이션은 디자이너의 등용문인 디자인 콘테스트나 채용시험에서 디자인能力의 評價수단으로 이용되고 있다. 이와같이 服飾産業의 발달에 따라 패션 일러스트레이션의 요구도가 점점 증대되는 현 시점에서 韓國의 패션 일러스트레이션 敎育에 대한 實態가 硏究되어야 한다고 생각한다. 따라서 本 硏究는 패션 일러스트레이션의 역사와 韓國에 도입된 유래, 패션 일러스트레이션의 分野·사용용도·표현효과별 분류를 文獻을 통해 고찰하였고 서울시내 5개 대학 衣裳學科 在學生과 현역 디자이너를 대상으로 패션 일러스트레이션 敎育實態를 조사하였다. 그 결과 패션 일러스트레이션 敎育이 專門家에 의해 실시되지 못하고 있으며 또한 學生들이 그림에 대한 기초가 부속함에도 불구하고 패션 일러스트레이션 敎育이 수업시간에만 의존하고 있는 實情이므로 學校敎育에 의해 自身의 意도를 자유롭게 表現할 수 있는 수준까지 도달하지 못하는 상태였다. 따라서 學校에서의 패션 일러스트fp이션 敎育은 단지 교과과정에 불과하고 디자이너로 進出하기를 희망하는 學生들의 大部分이 學院등을 통해 단편적으로 기술을 습득하는 임시방편식의 패션 일러스트레이션 敎育이 거듭되고 있는 實情이었다. 이러한 韓國의 패션 일러스트레이션 敎育實態를 개선하기 위해서는 첫째, 보다 專門的인 패션 일러스트레이터를 양성하는 교육기관이 설립되어 여기서 양성된 전문적인 패션 일러스트레이터에 의한 敎育이 실시되는 것이 바람직하겠다. 둘째,衣裳을 가장 아름답고, 正確하고 다양하게 표현할 수 있는 表現方法이 硏究되어야겠고, 패션 일러스트레이션에 디자인 原理, 要素를 적용한 理論과 實際를 겸한 체계적인 교육방법이 硏究되어야 할 것이다. 셋째, 韓國의 패션 일러스트레이션이 보다 活性化되고 發展하기 위해서는 패션專門店에서 디자이너와 패션 일러스트레이터가 분리되는 단계가 이루어져 패션 일러스트레이션의 활용범위가 넓어지고 패션專門誌에 韓國 패션 일러스트레이션이 많이 게재되는 것 등이 패션 일러스트레이션의 專門化를 促進하는 동기가 될 것이며 이를 바탕으로 服飾産業이 더욱 發展할 수 있는 계기가 될 것이다.;When we classify the path of the students who major in the field of clothing into academic, industrial world and etd, we find there is something the matter in college education with their going into industrial world, while there is no problem in academic world. Therefore, college should make a firm system to teach special knowledge and technical ability to students for them to use in fashion world and give them the opportunity to acquire theory and practice. That is to say, in addition to acquisition of the skill of design, fashion-illustration, pattern making the rudimentary skill of partial needle work and so or is required. Among them, the fashion-illustration is used as a means to appraise the design ability in design contest and employment test-the two gateways to designer. As written ahove, I suppose that study should be put on the realities of fashion-illustration education in Korea, for that skill is presently required more and more in lino with the development of clothing industry. Accordingly, I considered the history of fashion-illustra-tio, its introduction to Korea, fields of fashion-illustration; jts usage and the classification of respective expression effect through documents and I made a survey of the actual scene of fashion-illustration education on the students of clothing department of five universities in Seoul and the actiue designers. As a resutt, I found that the fashion-illustration education in not performed by specialists. Besides, In spite of the lack of knowledge about painting, the students depend on regular classes only for learning fashion-illustration. So, it was revealed that they didnit get sufficient skill to express there intention. I came to know that the fashion-illustration education in college is nothing but a part of curriculum and most of the students who wish to be fashion designer learns the techniques in private institute. Unfortunately, that temporary fashion-illustration education has been repeated. Here, I suggest three ways to improve the fashion-illustration education in Korea. First, we should establish the educational institution for bringing up special fashion-illustrater so tht the illustraters learned in that institution are able to teach students. Secondly, a desirable fashio-illustration with which dresses are able to be beautifully and correctly expressed should be studied, and a desirable educational way under which the principles and factors of design are theors of design are theoritically and practically applied should be suggested. Thirdly, to activate and develop Korean fashion-illusration, the role of fashion-illustrater and that of designer must be seperated in a fashion agency to pave the way to widen the span of use of fashion- illustration. In addition, If as many Korean fashion-illustrations would be shown on fashion journal as possible, it should be a motive to stimulate the specializatio of fashion-illustration. And then, We'll be able to take this opportunity to advance the fashion industry of Korea considerably
