교회학교 교육에 있어서의 교수매체 활용에 관한 연구

Abstract

In modern times, much various communication media according to scientific and technological evolution have been developed and applied to education or instruction. The fact that the use of these communication media in education settings effected on desirable learning outcomes have been verified by many experimental researches. And thus there is a need to develop and implement the use of instructional new media at church schooling. In this view, this study was aimed to survey and analyze the state of the art of instructional media use and management in exist church schooling at Seoul, and to investigate the effective and desirable alternative of instructional media utilization in church school. In sumarizing of results of this study, there are as follows : First. most church schools used the church classroom or chapel room as a room for producing, storing and using the instructional media, while only a few church schools managed independent learning resources center. Second, although it was necessary for most church schools to use instructional media, it was shown that they didn't actually use them. The main reasons were lack of efficient teaching learning resources and budget shortage. Third, most teachers in church schools realized that it was indispensible t o develop, disseminate instructional media and to improve facillities. On the basics of these results, in order to utilize the instructional media center in church schools, it is suggested as follows ; 1. In order to install and to manage a instructional media center in church schools, it is essential that church managers should realize the effect of instructional media and the functions of instructional media center and sufficient financial support should be ensued. 2. Personnels who have knowledge in instructional media should be secured. 3. There should make efforts to prepare instructional resources through renting or producing them. 4. There is a need to search for alternative about managing instructional media center according to church districts, with converting to intergrated instructional media center.;현대 사회에 있어서는 고도의 과학기술의 발달과 함께 각종 다양한 매체가 발달하게 되고 이를 교육에 활용하는 기회가 증가되고 있다. 또한 발달된 다양한 매체의 교육에의 효율적 활용이 학생들의 학습효과를 높이는데 기여할 수 있다는 사실이 많은 실험연구들을 통해서 잘 입증되고 있다. 때문에 이와같은 새로운 과학기술에 많은 영향을 받고 있는 학생들을 주요대상으로 전개되는 오늘의 교회학교 교육 역시 새로운 교수매체의 개발과 그 효과적 활용이 절실히 요구된다. 본 연구는 교회학교에서의 교수매체의 필요성, 그리고 교회학교에서 교수매체 활용의 활성화를 위한 자료실의 필요성과 그 운영을 관계문헌을 통하여 이론적으로 고찰해 보고, 이를 기초로 현재 서울지역 교회학교에서의 매체활용을 위한 시설의 실태를 조사, 분석하여 보다 효과적인 교수매체 활용의 활성화를 위한 자료실의 운영이 원활하게 이루어지기 위한 기초를 마련하고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 첫째, 교회학교에서는 교수매체를 보관·제작·활용하고 수업연구를 하기 위한 장소로서 주로 교회학교 교실 및 예배실을 이용하고 있었으며, 자료실을 별도로 마련해서 운영하고 있는 교회는 329개 교회중 35개 교회(10.6%)에 불과한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 교수매체의 활용을 필요로 하고 있음에도 불구하고 잘 활용하지 못하고 있는 것으로 나타났는데, 그 원인은 주로 유효 적절한 교수-학습 자료와 예산의 부족에서 찾아볼 수 있었다. 세째, 교회학교 교사들은 효과적인 교수매체 활용을 위해서 교수매체 개발 및 보급과 자료확보 및 시설 확충이 필요함을 인식하고 있었다. 이상과 같은 분석을 토대로 하여 교회학교에서 보다 원활한 매체의 활용을 위한 자료실의 활성화를 위하여 다음과 같은 제언을 하고자 한다. 첫째, 각 교회에 자료실의 설치 및 운영을 위해서는 교수매체의 효과와 미디아센타의 기능에 대한 지도자의 인식과 아울러 충분한 재정적 뒷받침이 마련되어야 한다. 둘째, 적합한 자격과 전문적 자질을 갖춘 교수매체 전담요원이 확보되어야한다. 세째, 대여나 제작을 통한 교재의 확보에 대해 충분한 관심과 배려가 있어야 한다. 네째, 자료실과 도서실이 통합된 형태로 전환시켜 나가야 한다. 다섯째, 자료실을 노회별(지역별)로 운영하는 방안을 모색해 보아야 한다. 여섯째, 교회학교 교육에 적합한 교수매체의 연구개발 및 보급이 활발히 이루어져야 한다.
