부모-조부모관계와 손자녀-조부모 친밀도가 청소년의 노인과 노화에 대한 사실인지에 미치는 영향

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to investigate the relationships between grandparent-teenager intimacy and grandparent-parent relationship, and teenager's recognition about on the old and aging. The study subject were 479 students of first and second grade in 10 middle and high schools in Seoul and Kyong-Ki region, and they choose one of living grandparents. To see grandparent-teenager intimacy and grandparent-parent relationship, Park's scale and Back's scale were used. And to see the teenater's recognition about facts on the old and aging, Yoon & Jo's scale were used. The data of this study were analysed by ANOVA, multiple comparison test was used LS MEAN, Pearson's product correlation, regression, ANCOVA, and Cronbach's a for reliability. The major results of this study were summerized as, follows: 1. A level that teenager perceived relationship between parent and grandparent was very high, and the degree of intimacy with grandparent was comparatively high. A level teenager's recognition about facts on the old and aging was moderate on the whole especially, teenagers recognized to physical·physiological view very well. 2. The relationship between parent and grandparent only influenced by distance and mutual contact. Namely, when teenager was far from grandparents, and frequent contact with grandparent. They perceived that parent-grandparent relationship is very good. 3. The import factors on intimacy, between grandchild and grandparent were grandchild's age, mother's job, grandparent's health, contact by telephone. That is to say, when teenager's age is thirteen or fourteen year old, when mother's job is professional job or housewife, grandparent's health is above the average, mutual telephone contact is frequent, grandchildren perceived higher degress of intimacy with grandparents. 4. Grandparen-parent relationship, and grandparent-grandchild intimacy, and teenager's facts on the old and aging had interrelation. 5. The research also shows that teenager's facts on the old and aging was influenced by relationship between grandparent and parent. That is to say, the better relationship between grandparent and parent, the higher teenagers recognized facts on the old and aging. 6. physical·physiological view of teenager's facts on the old and aging was influenced by relationship between grandparent aid parent. 7. Family·social view of teenagers' facts on the old and aging was influenced by teenagers' age, live together or apart, the intimacy c1f grandparent and grandchild. 8. Psychological view of teenagers' facts on the old and aging was influenced by relationship between grandparent and parent.;본 연구에서는 부모-조부모 관계 및 손자녀-조부모의 친밀도와 청소년의 노인과 노화에 대한 사실인지의 관계를 파악하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 서울·경기도내에 소재한 중·고둥학교 1, 2학년에 재학중인 남녀학생 479명이었다. 측정도구는 부모-조부모관계 및 손자녀-조부모의 친밀도를 측정하기 위하여 박의순(1990)과 백문화(1992)가 사용한 설문지를 근거로 하였으며, 청소년 손자녀의 노인과 노화에 대한 사실인지를 측정하기 위해 윤진·조석미(1982)가 제작한 경산 노화사실인지척도 24문항중에서 부적합하다고 생각되는 4문항을 삭제한 20문항만을 선정하여 사용하였다. 수집된 자료의 분석을 위하여 빈도, 백분율, 분산분석, 비가중평균(LS MEAN)을 이용한 다중비교, Pearson적률상관계수, 회귀분석, 공분산 분석을, SAS를 이용하여 전산처리하였으며 신뢰도 검증을 위하여 Cronbach의 α를 산출하였다. 주된 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 청소년들이 지각한 부모-조부모관계는 매우 좋은 것으로 나타났으며, 손자녀와 조부모와의 친밀도 수준 역시 비교적 높게 나타났다. 청소년의 노인과 노화에 대한 사실인지 수준은 보통으로 나타났으며, 신체·생리적 측면에 대해서 가장 잘 인지하고 있었다. 2, 부모와 조부모와의 관계는 물리적 거리와 대면적 접촉에 의해서만 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 즉, 조부모와 멀리 떨어져 있을수록, 대면적 접촉이 잦을수록 청소년 손자녀는 부모와 조부모와의 관계를 더욱 좋게 지각하였다. 3. 손자녀와 조부모의 친밀도는 손자녀의 연령, 모의직업, 조부모의 건강, 전화에 의한 접촉에 따라 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 즉, 손자녀의 연령이 고등학생 시기인 16-17세의 경우보다 중학생시기인 13-14세의 경우, 모의직업이 전문직이거나 전업주부인 경우, 조부모의 건강이 보통이상인 경우, 조부모와의 전화접촉이 잦을수록 손자녀는 조부모와의 친밀도를 더욱 높게 지각하였다. 4, 부모-조부모관계와 손자녀-조부모의 친밀도는 서로 유의한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으며 청소년의 노인과 노화에 대한 사실인지는 부모-조부모관계뿐만 아니라 손자녀-조부모의 친밀도와 유의한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 5. 청소년은 손자녀의 노인과 노화에 대한 사실인지에 유의한 영향을 미치는 변인은 조부모와 부모관계로서, 조부모와 부모관계가 좋을수록 청소년은 노인과 노화에 대한 사실에 대해 더욱 올바르고 정확하게 인지하였다. 6, 청소년 손자녀의 노인과 노화에 대한 사실인지중 신체·생리적인 측면에 유의한 영향을 미치는 변인은 조부모와 부모관계로서 조부모와 부모관계가 좋을수록, 청소년은 신체·생리적인 측면에 대해 더욱 올바르고 정확하게 인지하였다. 7. 청소년 손자녀의 노인과 노화에 대한 사실인지중 가족·사회적인 측면에 유의한 영향을 미치는 변인은 청소년의 연령, 조부모와의 동거여부, 손자녀와 조부모의 친밀도로서 청소년연령이 고둥학생 시기인 16, 17세인 경우, 조부모와 동거하는 경우, 조부모와 친밀한 관계를 유지할수록 청소년은 가족·사회적인 측면에 대해 더욱 올바르고 정확하게 인지하였다. 8. 청소년 손자녀의 노인과 노화에 대한 사실인지중 심리적인 측면에 유의한 영향을 미치는 변인은 조부모와 부모관계로서 조부모와 부모와 관계가 좋을수록, 청소년은 심리적인 측면에 대해 더욱 올바르고 정확하게 인지하였다.
