남자노인들의 사회관계와 정서적 적응

Abstract

본 연구는 남자 노인의 사회관계와 정서적 적응에 영향을 미치는 요인을 밝히는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를위한 구체적인 연구목표는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 우리나라 남자노인의 사회경제적 배경변인(연령, 교육정도, 수입, 결혼형태, 가족구조, 건강 등)은 사회관계망의 크기, 접촉빈도, 만족도 및 정서적 적응에 어떠한 영향이 있는지 알아본다. 둘째, 남자노인의 사회관계망의 크기 및 접촉빈도는 사회관계 만족도와 어떠한 관계가 있는지 알아본다. 세째, 노인의 사회관계의 크기, 접촉빈도, 만족도는 정서적 적응과 어떠한 관계가 있는지 알아본다. 본 연구의 대상은 남자노인 115명이었다. 측정도구는 결혼만족도를 측정하기 위해 Loach의 MSS척도를 사용하였으며 정서적응에 관해서는 SCL척도중 anxiety(불안), well-being(복지), depressiom(우울) 을 사용하였으며 기타 남자노인의 사회인구학적 특성 및 사회관계에 관한 문항은 기존의 설문지를 수정, 보완하여 사용하였다. 연구방법은 직접 방문하여 개별적인 면접과 설문지를 배부한후 회수하여 얻었다. 수집된 자료의 분석을 위해서 SPSS를 이용하여 신뢰도검증, 빈도분석, 상관관계분석, 일원변량분석, 회귀분석을 통해 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 남자 노인의 사회인구학적 특성중 연령이 적고 학력이 높으며 배우자가 있으며 건강상태가 좋고 소득수준이 높을수록, 직업관계, 친척관계, 친구관계, 사회단체관계, 자녀관계, 부부관계와 같은 사회관계의 크기, 접촉빈도가 많으며 만족도도 높게 나타났다. 2. 남자 노인의 사회인구학적 특성중 연령이 적고 학력이 높으며 배우자가 있으며 건강상태가 좋고 소득수준이 높을수록 정서적 적응은 높게나타났다. 3. 남자 노인의 사회관계의 크기 및 접촉빈도가 많을수록 사회관계만족도가 높게 나타났다. 4. 남자 노인의 사회관계의 크기, 접촉빈도, 만족도가 클수록 정서적응은 높게 나타났다. 이러한 영향은 사회인구학적인 특성을 통제한 상태에서도 같은 결과로 나타났다. 5. 남자 노인의 연령이 적고, 건강상태가 좋으며, 소득수준이 높고 사회관계만족도가 높을수록 정서적 적응은 높게 나타났다.;The purpose of this study are to help men to live better life after retirement, through the adaptation to social realation and emotion. To reach these golds, 115 old men in Seoul and Kyoungydo who live with their mates or alone were selected by the random sampling. And this study checked on their personal character and state of their social realation and emotion at retirement stage. For the study, three dimention of variables are established. First dimension is consist of persional character. Second dimension is consist of social realation. Third dimension is consist of emotional state. As tools of measurement Roach's scle and SCL scale was used. S.P.S.S program was used for data analysis, and the data were verified by correlation analysis, one-way, and multiple regression. The major results of this study are summarized as follows: 1. The old men have a great satisfaction of their social realation when they have good health, much money and high education. 2. The old men have a great satisfaction of their social realation when they have many opportunity of social support. 3. The old men have a great satisfaction of their emotional state when they have good health, much money and high education. 4. The old men have a great satisfaction of their emotional state when they have many opportunity of social support. 5. The effects of emotional state are concerned with social realation satisfaction.
