우리나라 일반 TV방송의 과학 프로그램에 대한 연구

Abstract

본 논문에서는 여러 매체를 통한 과학의 대중화 중 TV를 통한 과학 프로그램의 필요성을 전제로 하여, 앞으로의 과학 프로그램이 지향해야 할 방향을 제시하고, 더 나아가 미래 사회에 대처할 수 있는 좋은 TV 과학 프로그램의 개발을 촉진시키기 위해, 먼저 TV 과학 프로그램이 가질 수 있는 장점을 제시하고, 1. 설문지를 제작, 10세 이상의 남, 녀에게 배포하여, 대중의 TV 과학 프로그램에 대한 인식을 분석하였고, 2. 1986년부터 1990년까지 5년간의 봄, 가을 프로그램 개편시의 주간기본편성표를 이용하여, 과학 프로그램의 편성비율을 조사하고, 3. 각 프로그램의 제작 프로듀서와의 직접 면담을 통하여, 현재 방송되고 있는 TV 과학 프로그램의 문제점과 그 개선 방안, 프로듀서들의 바라는 점들을 분석하고 앞으로의 방향성을 알아 보았다. 그 결과, 다음과 같은 결론을 제시한다. TV 과학 프로그램은 다음과 같은 기본 요건을 갖추어야 한다. 1) 시청자에게 도움이 되어야 한다. 2) 이해하기 쉬운 언어가 사용되어야 한다. 3) 재미있어야 한다. 4) 설명이 체계적이어야 한다. 5) 내용이 정확해야 한다. 6) 구체적으로 표현되어야 한다. 7) 대상층이 세분되어 명확히 전제되어야 한다. 8) 미래지향적인 목표를 세워야 한다. 9) 내용과 형식이 다양해야 한다. 10) 새로운 과학 정보를 신속히 전달해야 한다. 11) 우리 문화에 뿌리를 두어야 한다. 이상의 기본 요건들이 실제 TV 과학 프로그램에 적용되기 위해서는 다음과 같은 제반 조건이 형성되어야 한다. 1. 과학 정보 네트워크 (Science Information Network : SIN) 의 설립 2. 방송사의 TV 과학 프로그램에 대한 인식의 변화 3. 과학자의 과학 대중화에 대한 인식의 변화 4. 정부의 과학 대중화를 위한 실제적인 노력;In this paper, I premissed the necessity of TV science programs among the public awareness of science by means of various media. And in order to direct future TV science programs' way and to promote the TV science programs' development preparing for the future society, I represent the TV science programs' merit, and 1. I made the research papers and distributed them to men and women over 10 years old to analyze the public knowledge about the TV science programs. 2. I researched the composition ratio of TV science programs using the table of the weekly standard programs in the spring and autumn program reformation from 1986 to 1990. 3. I researched with the producers of each program to analyze the problems of present TV science programs and the producers' hope and to research the future directions. As a result, I represent the following results. TV science programs should equip the following basic conditions ; 1) It should be helpful for the public 2) It should be understandable 3) It should be entertaining 4) It should explain systematically 5) It should contain accurate things. 6) It should express concretely 7) It should be classified for the various audience 8) It should have objective considered for the future. 9) It should have various themes and formats 10) It should broadcast update science informations speedly 11) It should be based on our culture. To apply these basic conditions to real TV science programs, it should be required that we form such conditions as; 1) The establishment of the Science Information Network (SIN). 2) The change of the broadcasting companies' knowledge about the TV science programs. 3) The change of the scientists' knowledge about the public awareness of the science. 4) The Government's actual efforts for the pubic awareness of science
