미술감상, 표현교육 실태 조사 연구

Abstract

The ultimate goal of fine arts curriculum is aimed at the upbringing for harmonious humanity. The curriculum of fine arts in elementary schools is an expressive curriculum to rear aesthetic impressions through the improvement of creativity and thought ability by participating in the activity for expressing one's impression voluntarily with the experiences on diverse materials. The objective of this study is to grasp the actual state of education for expressing one's thought that has been under practice in the course of fine arts by the existing elementary schools, and thus, to provide pupils with corroborative data in order to materialize more efficiently creative fine arts through seizing such an actual state is duly deserved to be the significance of this particular study. A series of issues intended to discern in this study are namely, the recognition of teachers towards the fine arts curriculum, the actual state and contents for leading thought-expressive education the relation of thought-expressive education, the attitudes of pupils toward teaching the thought-expression, the diversity of materials treated in the existing education and fine arts as well as the environment of learning, etc. Through the study on the relevant bibliographies for these problems, the findings analized by disposing statistically 966 questionnaires recruited from the teachers of 30 elementary schools in the city of Seoul upon attempting to examine fine arts course education are as follows: 1. Although the importance on though education for the activities of creative expression and the improvement of aesthetic attitude were recognized, the thought and expressive education were not equilibrated because of laying disproportionate emphasis on the education of expressive activities in practical education. 2. Though teachers would satisfy about the diversity of materials and expressions carried in the relevant textbooks, it was appeared that the diverse materials and even by each school-ing grade, it was further revealed that the similar contents were repeated by every each grade without the variation of learning contents. 3. As for the conditions for the education of creative expression, the development and supplies of diversified materials would be required, because they were revealed to be the use of diverse materials, the completion of thought education and the presentation of reference works. Therefore, the recognition of importance on the preparation of minimal education materials and the thought education by the teachers should be necessary in this particular regard.;미술 교과의 궁극적인 목표는 조화로운 인간성의 육성이다. 국민 학교에서의 미술 교과는 다양한 재료의 경험을 통하여 스스로 감상, 표현 활동에 참여함으로써 창의성과 감상 능력의 향상을 통하여 미적 감각을 길러 주는 표현 교과이다. 본 연구의 목적은 현행 국민학교 미술 교육 과정에서 이루어지고 있는 감상·표현 교육의 실태를 파악하기 위한 것이며 이러한 실태를 파악하여 보다 효과적이고 창조적인 미술 교육이 실현되기 위한 실증적인 자료를 제공하기 위한 것이다. 본 연구에서 다루고자 하는 내용은 미술 교과에 대한 교사들의 인식, 감상·표현교육 지도 실태 및 관계, 미술 교과에 대한 물리적 환경등이다. 이를 위해 문헌 연구를 통해 미술과 교육 목표를 알아 보고 서울 시내 27개 국민 학교 교사를 대상으로 모집한 질문지 966통을 통계 처리하여 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 창의적 표현 활동과 미적 태도의 향상을 위한 감상 교육의 중요성을 인식하고는 있으나 실제 교육에서는 표현 활동 교육에 편중되어 있다. 2. 교사들은 교과서에 실린 재료와 표현의 다양성에 대해서 만족하지만 실재 교육 현장에 있어서는 다양한 재료가 사용되고 있지 못하고 있는 것으로 나타났으며 학년별로도 수업 내용의 변화없이 유사한 내용이 학년마다 반복되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 3. 창조적 표현 교육을 위한 조건으로는 다양한 재료의 사용, 감상 교육의 활성화, 다양한 참고 작품의 제시등으로 나타나 다양한 재료의 개발과 공급이 요구되며 미술과 수업을 위한 최소한의 교육 자료의 준비와 교사들의 감상 교육에 대한 중요성의 인식이 필요하다.
