서울시내 국민학교 교사들의 교수매체 활용에 관한 조사연구

Abstract

Recently education is being reformed in multilateral sections-contents, methods, techniques. The development of modern science results in the rapid change in sociality, economy, culture and educational environment. As a result of it, educational methods are being systemized and educational material comes to be systematically utilized. Education can be more effectively done by utilizing the theory and the application of instructional media simultaneously The utilization of instructional media is indispensible to increase educational effect and to initiate participation of students. It is very important that instructional media cam be easily utilized in the front of school by planning, controlling and administrating it effectively. In this study, I investigate into the aquisition-lending, purchasing, producing of media-and try to analyze the element of obstructing utilization of media. I have found out following problems in the survey, which was done by the help of 270 teachers in public primary school in Seoul. 1. The instructional media in schools in not sufficient. 2. The frequency that teachers utilize media is not sufficient. 3. The degree that teachers utilize district educational material center is not sufficient. 4. The financial support of nation for the development and distribution is not sufficient. 5. The opportunity that teachers can study the production and utilization of media is not frequent. Now I recommend the followings to solve the above problems and get and utilize instructional media effectively. 1. The authority of schools should pay attention to the quantitative, qualitative improvement of media and give teacher sufficient financial support. 2. In order for teachers to produce and utilize media, the opportunity that teachers can study it should be frequent. 3. District educational materials center should be possessed of many materials to be made use of by teachers. 4. The national support is prerequisite to develop and distribute instructional media. 5. The information on media should be given to the front of schools in order for them to utilize it.;정보화시대라고 말하는 오늘날의 교육은 그 내용, 방법, 기술 등 다각적인 면에서 개혁이 이루어지고 있으며, 현대과학의 발달로 인한 사회, 경제, 문화의 급격한 변화는 교육환경의 변화를 초래했다. 이에 따라 학습에 대한 교수의 방법이 체계적으로 조직화되기에 이르렀으며, 이론을 기초한 수업방법을 토대로 하여 교수매체의 활용도가 점차 조직적으로 현실화 되어가고 있다. 그러므로 교수방법에 있어서 이론과 교수매체의 활용을 병행함으로써 보다 효율적인 학습을 거둘 수 있는데, 학습효과를 높일 수 있도록 학습자의 참여와 동기유발을 꾀할 수 있는 교수매체의 활용은 교수방법의 개선을 위해서 필수적이다. 또 이러한 교수매체를 효과적으로 계획, 관리, 운영하여 일선학교의 학습에 활용할 수 있도록 하며, 이에 따르는 원활한 서비스를 제공한다는 것은 학교교육의 내실화와 직결된다는 의미에서 매우 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 교수매체의 보다 효율적인 활용을 위하여 일선국민학교에서의 교수매체 입수상태, 즉 대출, 구입, 제작상황 전반을 조사하고, 활용을 저해하는 요인이 무엇인지를 분석하려 하였다. 서울시내 공립국민학교 교사 270명을 대상으로 실시한 질문지의 조사결과 드러난 문제점은 다음과 같다. 1. 서울시내 각급 학교에서 보유하고 있는 교수매체의 수가 부족하다. 2. 교사들의 자신이 필요한 교수매체를 제작해서 활용하는 수준이 낮다. 3. 교사들의 지역교육자료실 활용이 저조하다. 4. 교수매체 개발 및 보급을 위한 충분한 재정적 지원이 부족하다. 5. 교수매체 제작이나 활용을 위한 연수의 기회가 부족하다. 이와 같은 문제점을 해결하고 보다 효율적인 교수매체의 입수와 활용을 위하여 다음과 같이 제언한다. 1. 각급 학교에서는 교사들을 위한 교수매체의 양과 질적인 개선을 위해 노력해야 하며, 교사들을 위해 충분한 재정적 지원이 있어야 한다. 2. 교사들의 수업에 필요한 교수매체 제작 활용을 위해 교수매체 제작에 관한 적극적인 연수가 개최되어야 한다. 3. 교사들의 지역교육자료실 활용을 위해 보다 많은 적절한 자료를 구비해야 한다. 4. 교수매체 개발 및 보급을 위해 국가적 차원의 지원이 선행되어야 한다. 5. 교사들의 교수매체 제작이나 활용을 위해 교사들이 실제로 현장에서 자유롭게 활용할 수 있도록 현장과 연결된 연수교육기회를 자주 마련해야 한다.
