Rousseau의 체육사상에 관한 연구

Abstract

Jean Jacques Rousseau(1712∼1778)는 18世紀의 계몽사상가이자 문명비평가·정치사상가·교육학자·철학자로써 硏究者가 目的에 따라 그 연구의 대상으로 삼고 있다. 그러나 그의 사상의 주조를 이루고 있는 일관된 사상은 自然에 근거를 두고 있다. 硏究者는 本 論文에서 Rousseau가 쓴 교육소설 「Emile」과 그의 2차 저술을 중심으로 연구문헌을 통한 문헌연구의 방법으로 Rousseau의 체육사상에 관해 고찰하였다. Rousseau의 自然主義 思想에 대한 이해를 돕기 위해 18世紀를 前後한 自然主義 思想家들에 대해서 기술하였고, 그의 사상이 잉태된 시대적 배경과 사상적 배경에 대해서도 종합했으며, 特히 그의 저서 「Emil」에 나타나 있는 Rousseau의 自然主義 體育思想에 관해 살펴보았다. 그 結果, Rousseau는 「Emile」에서 인간 형성에 필수적인 수단으로서 운동을 채택하고, 교육가운데에 체육의 위치를 바르게 굳혀 놓았음을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 체육이라고 하는 하나의 영역이 체계화되었고, Basedow를 비롯한 體育實踐家에게 그의 체육사상이 계승되어 근대학교 체육의 성립에 지대한 영향을 준 것으로 사료된다. 아동중심의 교육과 신체의 교육 및 감각의 훈련에 의한 신체단련의 중요성을 주장한 것은 실로 교육의 혁명이라고 말할 수 있으며, 結論에서 本 硏究者는 Rousseau가 그의 力作인 「Emile」에서 보여주고 있는 主要한 體育思想을 중심으로 연구하였다.;Jean Jacques Rousseau was a 18th century enlightment philosopher, literary critique, political philosopher, educator and philosopher. Therefore, he was researched variously by many researchers according to their purposes. But the consistent philosophy which is structuring his main themes is based on nature. On this thesis, the research of philosophy of physical education of Rousseau was conducted by bibliographical study though his educational novel 'Emile' and references prior researches about his philosophy of physical education . In order to enhance the understanding of Rousseau's naturalistic philosophy, the descriptions of early and later 18th century naturalistic philosophers and summery of philosophical and periodical context, on which his ideas were conceived, were accounted. Especially, particular attention was devoted to his naturalistic philosophy of physical education which was revealed in his book 'Emile'. Consequently, in Rousseau's 'Emile' sports was selected as a necessary means for human education and futhermore, the exact statue of physical education was established among education. Also physical education was systematized as a independent field, and his philosophy of physical education was adhered to Basedow and other physical education practitioners which extensively influenced in securing the physical education of modern times . Asserting the importance of child-centered education, education of physique and physical fitness through sensitivity trading can be truly evaluated as a revolution of education. On conclusion of this thesis, the important philosophy of physical education revealed in his book 'Emile' was enumerated.
