경남 울주 반구대 암각화의 형태에 나타난 조형형식에 관한 小考

Abstract

본 연구는 대한민국 경상남도 울주군 대곡리에 소재하고 있는 북위 35°36'~35°45', 동경 129°~129°15'의 반구대 암각화의 조형적 특성에 대한 연구를 하는 데 목적이 있다. 반구대 암각화의 시각형식 및 조형적 특성을 논하기 위하여 동북아시아의 암각화를 시대별로 논하고 제작시기와 시대적 배경을 알타이 인문과 빗살무늬토기 및 샤머니즘의 영향을 문헌연구를 통하여 살펴보기로 한다. 본 연구는 모두 네 개의 장으로 이루어졌다. 제 Ⅰ장에서는 연구목적, 연구범위 및 방법에 대한 것이고, 제 Ⅱ장에서는 동북아시아 암각화의 시대별 특성 및 분포지역, 알타이 인문과 빗살무늬토기 분포와의 관계와 반구대 암각화의 제작시기 및 시대적 배경, 발생동기 및 목적, 표현기법을 고찰하였다. 제 Ⅲ장에서는 표현기법을 통한 조형상의 특성을 살펴보기 위하여 조형요소별로 나누어 小考한 결과 제 Ⅳ장에서는 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 형태에서 正面畵와 側面畵로 대별되며 이것은 각기 제 형태가 무엇인지 알아보기 쉽게 하기 위한 형태인 것으로 해석했다. 둘째, 신석기 시대에서 청동기시대로의 대변혁과 식량해결에 대한 생의 욕구는 형태의 단순화라는 조형형태를 낳게 한 것으로 보이며 자연의 위협은 낙원과 같은 이상주의를 꿈꾸게 하여 한 화면에서의 海獸 山獸의 共存現象을 표현하게끔 된 것으로 엿보인다. 셋째, 사나운 동물은 線刻으로, 온순한 동물은 面刻으로 처리하여 물상들에 가지는 性格을 잘 드러내 주고 있다. 넷째, 반구내 암각화에 나타난 線的인 요소는 그 강렬한 印象으로 하여금 암각화의 발생동기, 사상, 宗敎的 敎儀 등을 포함한 總體的인 모든 메시지를 더욱 선명하게 드러내 주는 역할을 하고 있으며 형태의 외부와 내부의 동시적 표현을 가능하게 했다. 다섯째, 한 화면 속에 각기 다른 시점이 共存하고 있으며 시점의 변화에 따라 대부분의 바다동물들은 垂直配置, 육지동물은 水平配置를 통한 공간분할의 임의성과 歪曲遠近法現象이 엿보이며 공간의 上·下의 무시, 형태의 간결, 명확, 단순성이 나타난 것으로 해석되었다.;This study is aimed at examining the time of engraved and the aesthetic interpretation of visional type and moulding characteristic of the rock picture of Ban-gu Dae located at Daegok-ri, Ulju-gun, Ulsan City between the latitude 35˚30'-35˚45' a and east longitude 129˚-129˚15'. To discuss the visional type and the moulding characteristic of Ban-gu Dae Rock Picture, first The Northeast Asian rock picture was to be discussed by the change of times, and the time of manufacture and the cultural background were to be checked through the study of literature in the Altaic culture and comb-teeth pattern earthenware vessel and the influence of the Shamanism. This study is composed of four chapters. In Chapter Ⅱ, the characteristic by the change of times and diployed area of Northeast Asian rock picture, the relation of deployed Altai culture and comb-teeth earthenware vessel, the time of manufacture of Ban-gu Dae Rock Picture and the cultural background thereof, the contents of rock picture and the motive of birth and the object, and the expression technique were totally reviewed. In Chapter Ⅲ, the interpretation of the visional type of the front side, lateral side, vertical side, horizontal side and the simplicity, the transparency, the co-existence of point of time, and the aesthetic interpretation and the distorted perspective representation are made. In Chapter Ⅳ, the conclusion on the basis of the review of Chapter Ⅱ and the analysis of result of Chapter Ⅲ is brought. The result obtained from this study is as below. First, the time of the engraved of Ban-gu Dae Rock Picture is the Bronze Ages, and this is same as the deployment of Altai- language family and combteeth earthenware vessel cultural sphere. Second, The visional type of the rock picture is the type of the front, the lateral, the vertical, and the horizontal. Third, The aesthetic interpretation on the moulding characteristic of the rock picture showed the simplicity, simultaneity, transparency, the phenomenon of co-existence of point of time on one canvass, and the distorted perspective representation. Fourth, The type of front, lateral, vertical and horizontal, the transparency, the simultaneity, the phenomenon of co-existence of point of time on one canvass, and the distorted perspective representation were the type and characteristic coming from the difference of "visual point" in general.
