朝鮮後期 風俗畵의 硏究

Abstract

Dividing Korean Art History by age, Korean latter term was the most Korean type art forming age, especially there were renaissance period over literature , art and all other art areas in 18 century of Youngjo and Jungjo Dynasty because they had very stable political , economical and social situations . Artists of the age were influenced from practical science ideology prevailing and cultivation of national consciousness and they got out of the tendency of Chinese art following falled into toadyism thoughtlessly, and then they looked straight their present world and escaped from traditional art bravely, then they drew a lot of genre pictures and actual view scenes, and representative artists of them were Kyunje, Chung Hwa, Danwon Kim Hong Do and Hyewon, Shin Yoon Bok etc. They made a model Korean art through their creative canons of painting based on their outstanding sense of beauty and national consciosness. This study researched that how the practical science ideology influenced to the genre picture of the day centering around Danwon and Hyewon's genre pictures which expressed frankly the common people's life elegance and other common customs, and then this study analyzed concretely the expression type on the genre pictures and tried to make a moment of recreation of modern sense of genre pictures. The summary of this study is composed with five chapters as follow: Chapter 1: Researched the background of practical ideology forming and new tendency of painting. Studied the ideological background centering around its painting tendency to see the cause of Danwon and Hyewon's genre pictures development. Chapter 2: Studied t h e concept and scope of genre pictures and analyzed Danwon and Hyewon's themes and its expression techniques, and studied periodical artist spirit appeared on their paintings. Chapter 3: Analyzed Danwon Kim Hong DO'S genre picture s by themes and studied his expressional features appeared on his arts and classified and reviewed from the point of view of composition, writing line , background treatment, figure- painting expression and coloring etc. Chapter 4: Analyzed Hyewon Shin Yoon Bok's genre pictures by its themes and classified and reviewed his expressional features from the point of view of composition, writing line , background treatment, figure-painting expression and coloring etc. Chapter 5: Compared the form of Danwon and Hyewon's genre pictures and compared their special feature elements appeared on their arts centering around Danwon's writing line and Hyewon's coloring and try to find out their creative canons of art and formation.;韓國繪畵史를 시대별로 구분하면 가장 韓國的 繪畵를 形成하였던 시기는 朝鮮時代 後期이며, 특히 18세기의 英祖 正祖시대는 정치ㆍ경제ㆍ사회등이 안정되어 문학이나 회화 등 예술전반에 걸쳐 문예부흥기를 이루었다. 이 시대의 화가들은 實學思想의 유행과 민족의식의 發揚에 영향을 받아 事大主義 思想에 젖어 무비판적으로 中國的인 그림만을 踏襲하고 있던 경향에서 벗어나 現實世界를 直視하고 傳統畵에서 과감히 脫皮함으로써 실경산수화와 풍속화 등을 많이 그리게 되었는데, 그 대표적인 화가로는 실경산수화의 謙齋 鄭敾과 풍속화가인 檀園 金弘道와 蕙園 申潤福을 들 수 있다. 이들은 현실을 바탕으로 하여 각각 독창적 회화의 경지를 개척하면서도 조선후기 사회와의 관련성을 그들의 작품세계를 통하여 보여준다. 本 硏究에서는 이러한 회화경향 가운데, 民生을 주제로 俗世間事와 市井雜事등의 庶民生活의 風情을 꾸밈없이 표현한 檀園과 蕙園의 風俗畵를 중심으로 實學思想이 풍속화에 미친 영향을 살펴보고, 풍속화에 나타난 표현형식을 구체적으로 분석하여 풍속화가 조선후기 사회상황과 어떤 관련이 있으며, 그 표현상의 특징은 무엇인가 알아보고자 한다. 전 5장으로 구성된 본 논문의 개요는 다음과 같다. 제 1장에서는 실학형성의 시대배경과 회화의 새 경향에 대해 살펴본다. 즉 단원과 혜원 풍속화의 발달원인을 살펴보기 위해 그 시대의 사상적 배경과 이를 중심으로 형성된 회화의 경향을 다룬다. 제 2장에서는 조선후기 풍속화의 개념과 범위를 알아보고, 단원과 혜원의 작품에 나타난 주제나 표현기법을 중심으로 분석하고, 이를 근거로 하여 그들의 회화에 나타난 시대적 작가정신을 살펴본다. 제 3장은 단원 김홍도의 풍속화를 主題別로 분석하고, 그의 작품에 나타난 표현형식상의 특징을 구도, 필선, 배경처리, 인물표현, 채색적인 측면에서 구분하여 검토한다. 제 4장은 혜원 신윤복의 풍속화를 주제별로 분석하고, 그의 작품에 나타난 표현형식상의 특징을 구도, 필선, 배경처리, 인물표현, 채색적인 측면에서 구분하여 검토한다. 제 5장은 단원과 혜원의 풍속화에 대한 양식비교로써, 그들의 작품속에 표현된 특징적인 요소, 즉 단원의 筆線과 혜원의 色彩를 중심으로 比較, 分析함으로써, 그들의 독자적인 화풍과 양식을 고찰해 보고자 한다.
