중학생의 미술과 표현활동 조사에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 중학생의 표현능력을 올바르게 조사 분석하므로써 표현학습의 효율성을 높이고자 본 연구를 시작하였다. 연구의 목적은 중학교 미술과 표현활동에서 수채화, 소묘에 따른 소재선택 경향과 표현효과를 조사하는데 있다. 연구의 내용은 충남 대전지방의 남녀 중1, 2학년을 대상으로 소재를 자유로 선택하게 한 수채화, 소묘를 미술과 표현활동에서 보았을때 소재와 그에 따른 표현효과를 분석하기 위해 남녀, 학년별로 조사했다. 연구의 문제는 소재선택도와 그에 따른 표현효과를 분석했다. 연구방법은 문헌, 학생작품(수채화, 소묘)을 수집하여 수채화, 소묘의 평가표를 가지고 활용했으며 표집대상은 대전지역 중형학교 6학교를 임의표집하고 대상인원은 학교별로 60명씩 총 360명을 대상으로 했다. 연구결과 수채화의 소재선택경향은 전반적으로 볼때 정물 57.8%, 풍경 30.0%로 편중되었으며 소묘는 소지품 42.2%, 손 38.9%의 선호도를 나타냈다. 소재선택에 따른 표현능력을 분석해본 결과 수채화는 정물을 소재로 선택한 그림이 다른 소재를 선택하여 그린 그림보다 표현능력이 상위 31.7%, 중위 40.4%로써 우수한 것으로 나타났으며, 소묘는 소재선택에 따른 표현능력이 전반적으로 비슷한 수준이었으나 남학생은 소지품의 표현능력이 우수하고 여학생은 인체중 손의 표현능력이 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 이는 소재의 선호도가 자신이 쉽게 표현할 수 있는 것을 택하기 때문에 표현능력도 우수한 것으로 평가된다.;The purpose of this study is to bring a high degree of efficiency to the learning of expression by surveying and analyzing correctly the middle school students' expressional ability. So this study surveys middle school students' characteristic choice of drawing's subject matter and the expressional effects which their water-color paintings or rough sketchings have. The contents are based on researches which have selected and evaluated those water-color paintings and rough sketches of the 1st and 2nd grade students of middle schools in Daejeon City, Choongchong-namdo, Korea, and which have analyzed the relation between their choice of subject matter and expressional effects when they are free to draw. The researches have been arranged by grade and sex of middle school students to investigate more fully the trend how they choose the subject matter and accordingly the expressional effects. To approach methodically to this purpose, book references and the actual works of students have been collected and evaluated into diagrams, and more in detail , every 60 middle school students in each six schools that located in Daejeon city, thus the total is 360 students, have been selected at will as the objects of this study. The result of the researches shows the trend that when students have to freely choose the subject matter in water-color painting, their preference in choosing lies of 57 percentage in still life drawing and 30% in landscape drawing, and when in rough sketching, 42.2% in one's belongings sketch and 38.9% in hand sketch. As for the expressional ability in accordance with the choice of subject matter, students show more excellent ability by 31.7% high degree and 40.4% intermediate degree in still life drawings than in other drawings. And in the rough sketchings, most students show similar abilities, but boys are more good at belongings sketches and girls are good at hand sketches. this suggests a fact that each student's expressional ability is influenced by the preference in choosing a drawing's subject matter which they can easily draw.
