현대무용에 기여한 무용가들의 사상과 작품세계

Abstract

現代舞踊이 새로운 文化現象으로서 社會的으로 容認되어 받아 들이게 된것은 20세기 初였다. 典型的인 古典 발레의 形式에 반기를 들고 일어난 이사도라 던컨(Isadora Duncan)으로부터 近代舞踊革命이 始作되었으나 그녀는 精神的인 改革으로 敍情的인 분위기만 묘사하였을 뿐 獨立된 藝術로서의 基盤을 확립하지 못하였다. 現代舞踊이 指向하는 새로운 모더니즘(Modernism)의 창의성과 理論的인 정립, 특별한 技巧의 改革, 식 舞踊家를 개발하는등 現代舞踊發展에 기여하였던 代表的인 7명의 舞踊家를 선정하에 그들의 藝術思想과 業績을 考察하여 본 결과 西洋의 舞踊文化圈內에서 始作된 藝術革命으로부터 現在에 이르기까지 그들은 現代舞踊의 정립과 舞踊藝術의 普及 및 發展에 지대한 影響力을 미쳤다.;The modern dance, having been socially accepted as a new cultural phenamenon, started in the early 20th Century. The contemporary dance-movement commenced with Isadora Duncan who stood against the typical form of classical ballet. Duncan manifested the emotional atmosphere with a reform in the spirit of dance, but artistically speaking, she did not lay any firm foundation. Establishment of creativity and theories of the new modernism by seven representative dancers, which guide the contemporaty dance, especially in terms of technical innovation, introducts on of the score of dance etc., have contributed to the development of modern dance. These seven representative dancers selected the modern form and nursed it with their artistic thoughts achievements. Furthermore, beginning from the start of the art-movement till the modern times, on the establishment of the modern dance as well as on the popularization and development of the art of dance.
