Abstract
어린이는 自身에게 가장 의미있는 것을, 그리기 및 만들기를 통하여 나타낸다. 이러한 어린이 美的表現의 發達 特徵을 主要埋論과 함께 우리나라 어린이를 對象으로 관찰·분석 해 보는 일은, 우리의 美術敎育의 기초를 튼튼히 하는 일이다. 本 硏究는 4~12세 어린이의 그리기 및 만들기 表現作品을 수집 분석하여, 그 特徵을 규명하는 데 硏究의 目的이 있다. 本 硏究의 主要硏究 內容은 첫째로, 관련이론을 분석·정리하여 發達段階를 設定하는 일과 둘째로, 4~12세어린이 12名의, 그리기와 만들기 表現作品을 수집·분석하는 일이다. 어린이作品 수집은 그리기表現과 만들기表現을 中心으로, 人物·動物·器物을 主題로 하고, 12名의 어린이를 對象으로 하였다. 對象兒童의 表現特徵을 보면, 圖式期(4~6세) 에서는, 형태개념이 形成되기 전이므로 寶物과 상당히 다르게 表現되는 경향을 보였다. 象徵期(7~9세)는, 전체적인 形態를 파악할 수 있었으며, 自身이 發見한 圖式들을 변형하여 비교적, 자유롭게 活用함으로써, 象徵的인 수준에서 自身의 意思를 폭 넓게 전달할 수 있었다. 그리고 前寫實期(10~12세)에서는, 사실에 가깝게 表現되었고, 그리기表現보다는 만들기表現이 더 실재성·구체성을 보였다. 따라서, 本 硏究에서 나타난 結果를 바탕으로 좀더 대상을 넓혀, 반복적·발전적으로 유사한 硏究가 이루어져, 美術敎育 指導에 기여할 것을 바란다.;In children the most meaningful objects to them are showed by means of drawing or sculpture. With this characteristic found in the development of aesthetic expression of children in common with related theories, a analytic observation with the subjects of Korean children may consolidate the foundation of art education in Korea. This study aims at characterizing the collected works in drawing and making expression of four to twelve years of age children. In the major contents of this study, primarily some developing stages was established after analyzing and pigeonholing related theories and secondarily the works in drawing and making expression of all 12 children four to five years of age were selected and analyzed. The works by 12 children were collected on the subject of character, animal, and receptacle., centered on the expression of drawing and making, In the characteristics found in expression by children, primarily in the Schematic Stage (4 to 6 years) the tendency to be expressed with a considerable difference from actual objects was shown, since a shapable concept was not still formed into them. In the next Symbolic Stage (7 to 9 years) both the general grasp of shape and the deformation of schemata discovered in them were realized and they could achieve a broad communication at a symbolic level, according to free application of deformed schemata. And in the last Pre-Naturalistic Stage (10 to 12 years), they tended to expression nearer to actuality and reality and concreteness were found in the expression of making rather than of drawing. On the basis of these results, this researcher hope that many repeated and developmental studies similar to this, with a wider scope, will contribute to the guidance of art education in children.
