도시 주부들의 식품오염에 관한 의식조사 연구

Abstract

우리나라는 4차에 걸친 경제개발계획을 통한 급진적인 성장에 의하여 생활수준이 상당히 높아 졌고, 어느 정도의 경제적인 여유가 생겼다. 그러나 경제개발에 전심전력해 온 나머지 환경문제를 등한히 해 왔음은 부정할 수 없는 사실이다. 그 결과 오늘날의 환경오염은 심화되어 가고 식품까지도 그 오염대상이 되어 가고 있다. 따라서 정책당국, 기업인이나 일반국민이 모두 합심협력하여 환경보전과 더불어 식품오염의 방지에 전력을 다해야 할 시점에 와 있다고 보겠다. 이에 본 연구에서는 서울시내에 거주하는 주부들을 대상으로 다음의 네가지로 촛점을 맞추어 조사하였다. (1) 조사 대상자에 관한 일반적 사항 (2) 환경오염에 관한 의식 실태 (3) 식품오염에 관한 일반적 의식 실태 (4) 식품오염 물질에 관한 의식 실태 그 결과 주부들은 우리나라의 환경오염을 심각하게 여기고 있고, 환겸오염 물질중 대기오염을 가장 문제시 하며, 地域的으로는 서울시내가 제일 오염되었다고 하였다. 정부의 환경공해 방지대책에 대해서는 긍정적인 반응을 나타내었다. 우리나라의 식품오염도를 높게 생각하고 있고 오염식품을 먹었을때는 피부병이 제일 많이 발생한다고 하였다. 또, 식품오염의 방지대책이 대한 책임을 식품업체에 두었으며 매스컴에서의 식품오염에 관한 기사에 관심도가 높고 대체로 긍정적으로 받아 들이고 있었다. 자연식품이나 건강식품에 대해서도 관심도와 신뢰도가 높게 나타났다 식품오염 물질중에서는 殘留農藥을 제일 문제시 하였고 이 잔류농약에 의해 과실류, 채소류가 많이 오염 되었으며, 중금속의 오염 또한 심각하다고 하였다. 그러나, 포장재료, 용기의 유독성분에 대해서는 무관심한 주부가 상당히 많았다. 이와같은 결과는 연령별, 학력별, 생활정도별, 서울 생활년수별에 따라서 유의한 차를 보인 것이라고 기대하였으나 연령별, 학력별, 생활정도별로는 약간의 차이를 보였을 뿐이고 서울 생활년수별로는 어떤 뚜렷한 차이를 발견할 수 없었다.;The Korean nation accomplished a rapid growth in economy and living standard in recent years. It cannot be, however, denied that the environmental problem has been ignored to cause the environmental pollution and food contamination. It is, therefore, needed that every person around the authority, industry and common citizens should do their best in order to protect the food contamination as well as environmental pollution. This study was undertaken to survey the consciousness of housewives by means of questionnaire with respect to the following four aspects ; (1) general information for housewives subjected to survey (2) present status of consciousness toward environmental pollution (3) general awareness on the food contamination problem (4) awareness on the individual food contaminants The general consciousness by housewives was that the environmental pollution in Korea was severe, air pollution was the most troublesome and Seoul City was the most polluted area. The pollution control measures by the Government was accepted affirmatively. The food contamination in Korea was thought to be severe and the most frequent intoxication was dermal injury. It was awared that the responsibility to prevent food contamination on should go to industry sector. The articles on food pollution in the mass communication media attracted much concern and in general they were accepted affirmatively. The concern and reliability on the natural and health foods were very high The highest concern in food contaminants was pesticide residues which caused the pollution of fruits and vegetables. The contamination by heavy metals was also recognized. The toxic effects of packaging materials and containers were not awared by many housewives. It was expected that the above-mentioned consciousness was significantly different depending on ages, education levels, living standards and period of Seoul living. Whereas some difference was observed by ages, education levels and Living standard, no remarkable difference was observed by the period of Seoul living.
