7차 교육과정에 의한 탐구 실험 및 실험 평가 기준 개발 : 7학년 힘을 중심으로

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 7학년 힘 의 여러 가지 힘에 대한 탐구 실험을 개발하고, 각 실험에 대한 객관적이고 타당한 평가 준거를 개발하는 것이다. 탐구 실험은 예측, 관찰, 설명의 POE(Prediction, Observation, Explanation) 단계로 구성되어 있다. 이 탐구 실험 모형으로 개발한 탐구 실험은 학생용 탐구 실험보고서와 교사용 실험지도서로 이루어져 있다. 학생용 탐구 실험보고서는 안내된 탐구 실험 형식으로 되어 있으며, 교사의 특별한 주의 사항 없이도 실험을 할 수 있도록 실험 주의점을 제시하였다. 교사용 실험지도서는 학생용 탐구 실험보고서와 같은 형태이며, 실험 주제, 학습 목표, 교사 주의점, 탐구과정, 모범답안 등을 자세히 제시하여 교사가 실험 수업을 준비하고 실시할 때 유용하게 사용할 수 있도록 하였다. 각 실험에서의 탐구과정 요소는 제 7차 교육과정에 제시된 탐구과정 요소를 기본으로 사용하였다. 개발한 탐구 실험에 대한 실험 평가기준은 탐구 실험보고서에 대한 채점기준, 실험기능에 대한 채점기준, 실험태도에 대한 채점기준으로 나누어 개발하였다. 학생용 탐구 실험보고서와 실험태도는 개인별로 평가하며, 실험기능은 조별로 평가하도록 하였다. 개발한 탐구 실험보고서와 실험 평가기준에 대한 타당도는 현직 중학교 교사 7명이 검증하였으며, 학생들의 실험보고서에 대한 현직 중학교 교사 3명의 채점 결과로부터 채점자간 신뢰도를 검증하였다. 개발한 탐구 실험을 투입한 결과, 탐구 실험 1은 평균 16.66, 표준편차 2.14로 나타났고, 탐구 실험 2는 평균 16.43, 표준편차 1.78로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 개발한 탐구 실험을 현장에 투입한 결과, 학생들은 서로 협력하여 토의하면서 실험에 적극적으로 참여하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서 개발한 탐구 실험은 현장에서 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.; The purpose of this study is to develop the inquiry experimental materials about the unit of force for the 7th grade and objective and valid evaluation criteria for each of the suggested experiments. The inquiry experiments were designed according to the inquiry experimental model, which is based on the POE-stage teaching model. This inquiry experiment model consists of three stages: prediction, observation, explanation. The experimental materials based on the inquiry experimental model include the experimental report for student and teacher s guide. The experimental report by student is in the form of guided inquiry experiment, and students are informed about matters that demand special attention, so that they could conduct experiment without any additional careful instructions from teacher. The teacher s guide has the same form as the experimental report, and is easy to use by specifying the theme of experiment, learning objective, inquiry process, correct answers, and what shall carefully be noted. The elements of the inquiry process suggested in the 7th educational curriculum were selected as the foundation on which each experimental procedure was determined. Concerning the evaluation criteria for each of the experiments developed in this study, the way of scoring student report, and experimental skills and attitude were prepared. The reports by students and their attitude are assessed individually, and experimental skills are evaluated by group. The validity of the experimental report and evaluation criteria were tested by seven middle school teachers, and the experimental reports submitted by students were scored by three middle school teachers. And the assessment results were analyzed to determine the scoring reliability. After the inquiry experiments were conducted, the students scored a mean of 16.66 in experiment 1(SD=2.14). For experiment 2, they got a mean of 16.43(SD=1.78). When the inquiry experiments developed in this study were conducted in class, students took part in the experiments in a positive and cooperative manner, having a discussion. Therefore, the inquiry experimental materials would be applicable and workable in school.
