D is diagnosed in those people who are deficient in attention and act impulsively with hyperactivity. Children with ADHD are having a lot of difficulties adjusting to school lives from problematic behaviors. Although typical treatments used for children with ADHD are medication, multidirectional treatment interventions are needed because medication has some limits such as ineffectiveness or side effects. Early treatment is also urgently needed to prevent problems proceeded from persistence of problem behaviors. Therefore, this study has been investigating the effects of playing instruments focused on Eurhythmics on impulse control of children. Dalcroze Eurhythmics teaches concepts of rhythm, structure, and musical expression using movement. It focuses on allowing the student to gain physical awareness and experience of music through training that takes place through all senses, particularly kinesthetic. Playing instruments utilizing this Eurhythmics is part of music therapy activities which involves not only playing instruments but also physical movements controling movement according to the music. Rhythm stimulates the auditory sense and controls children's movement. It can be an important tool to regulate impulsiveness of children and can help the children with ADHD control impulsivity. This study has examined the effects of playing instruments on the basis of Eurhythmics on impulsivity in children with ADHD in two ways. Firstly the changes in impulsivity of children observed by their parents, secondly the changes in the number of impulse behaviors during the session and how the impulse behaviors changed were set up for this study's subject and studied. This study was conducted on 5 elementary school students diagnosed with ADHD and made up of 4 boys and 1 girl, ages 9 to 11. Twice a week, a music treatment program was applied to these children for 30 minutes each day totally for 12 periods of time. Before applying this program, preliminary tests using Abbreviated Conners Parent-Teacher Rating Scale-Revised(ACRS) which were designed to be completed by parents and teachers to assist in evaluating children for hyperactivity and impulsivity were carried out targeting parents. And after the end of the program, post-tests were done using the same rating scales as pre-tests. The number of impulse behaviors at each period was measured analyzing through recorded videos and the changes among the introduction, the beginning, the middle and the end were comparative analyzed. In company with this quantitative study, behavioral changes were described through the video analysis. The results from this study are : First, the evaluation results from parents' pre and post tests have decreased in 3 children's results and didn't have any changes in the other 2 children's. Secondly, for the results of impulse behaviors during the session, they have decreased in all of the children with different level of change respectively. Child C has made a considerable change with 15 times decrease, Child B and D has made 3 times and 1 time decrease respectively. There have been positive behavioral changes in children's impulse behaviors and emotion controls. As a result, although children's change ranges and contents were individually different, playing instruments focused on Eurhythmics has shown curative effects on targeted children and it can be used as a useful remedy for children with ADHD to help them with their impulse controls.;주의력이 부족하고 충동적이며 과잉행동을 보이는 아동들은 ADHD로 진단되며 문제행동으로 인해 학교생활에 적응하지 못하고 여러 가지의 어려움을 호소한다.
