아동의 정서 행동적 특성과 리듬 모방 능력의 상관관계 연구

Abstract

In today's world, many children tend to be emotionally unstable, suffering from various emotional problems. So music is being actively used to cure emotionally-unstable children. Hence, this study will deal with analysis of behavioral characters of children and their rhythm imitation ability to understand the relation between human and music. 100 5th grade students participated in this study. And they are ordinary kids with normal intelligence and without any developmental disorder. To begin with, in order to grasp emotional nature of each juvenile, parents of the child had ran ‘K-CBCL’test and the child himself done ‘K-YSR’ test about his emotional-behavioral traits and the result was analyzed. Secondly, rhythm imitation ability of a child was assessed through 'MACED' in individual diagnosis session. In the test, rhythm imitation ability of the child was recorded and documented in a computer and task performance, accuracy, strength, swiftness and grouping abilities were analyzed and recorded in numerical scale. Lastly, correlation between the result of emotional action test and task performance, accuracy, strength, swiftness and grouping from rhythm imitation test was analyzed. To say the research result, there is positive correlation between the emotional action character of a child and rhythm imitation ability. When their correlation was analyzed, internalized emotional-behavioral traits showed static correlation with task performance, accuracy, and grouping, while externalized emotional-behavioral traits character portrayed static correlation with strength and swiftness. Also, among the sub-rhythm imitation ability : task performance, accuracy and grouping showed static correlation while strength and swiftness showed positive static correlation. Therefore, this study suggests theoretical data about children's emotion and rhythm and by doing so, it also acts as a foundation to make a better use of music and rhythm in music therapy.;오늘날 많은 아동들은 정서적으로 매우 불안정하며 여러 가지 정서 행동 문제를 보이고 있다. 이러한 아동의 정서 행동 문제를 다루기 위하여 음악을 활용한 치료적 접근이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 음악의 치료적 활용을 위한 기초 자료로서 아동과 음악의 관계를 파악하기 위하여 아동의 정서 행동적 특성과 리듬 모방 능력의 상관관계를 분석하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 D 초등학교 5학년의 일반 아동 100명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 먼저 각 아동의 정서 행동적 특성을 파악하기 위하여 학부모가 ‘K-CBCL' 검사를, 아동 자신이 ’K-YSR' 검사를 실시하였다. 두 번째로 ‘MACED'의 리듬으로 아동의 리듬 모방 능력을 평가하는 개별 진단 세션을 실시하였다. 이 때 리듬 모방 연주 활동을 통하여 아동의 리듬 과제 수행도, 리듬 정확도, 리듬 강도, 리듬 빠르기, 리듬 덩이 짓기 수를 수치화하였다. 마지막으로 정서 행동 검사 결과와 리듬 모방 활동에서 보인 리듬 모방 능력의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 또한 리듬 모방 능력 중 하위 영역 간의 상관관계를 분석하였고, 성별 리듬 모방 능력의 차이를 분석하였다. 연구 결과 아동의 정서 행동적 특성과 리듬 모방 능력은 유의미한 상관관계를 나타냈다. 내재화 정서 행동적 특성은 리듬 과제 수행도, 리듬 정확도, 리듬 덩이 짓기 수와 정적 상관관계를 보였고, 외현화 정서 행동적 특성은 리듬 강도, 리듬 빠르기와 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 또한 리듬 모방 능력 중 리듬 과제 수행 도와 리듬 정확도, 리듬 강도와 리듬 빠르기가 유의미한 정적 상관관계를 나타냈다. 그리고 성별에 따른 리듬 모방 능력은 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 이러한 과정을 통하여 본 연구에서는 아동의 정서 행동이 음악, 구체적으로 리듬 모방 능력과 상관관계를 갖는다는 결과를 얻게 되었다. 이 결과는 리듬 연주를 통한 아동의 정서 행동 진단 및 아동의 정서 행동 성향에 맞는 음악 활동 제공을 위한 기초 연구 자료가 될 수 있다. 이와 같이 본 연구는 아동의 정서와 리듬의 관계에 대한 이론적 자료를 제시하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 음악 치료 활동 안에서 음악과 리듬을 보다 효과적으로 활용할 수 있도록 하는 근거가 된다는 점에서 중요한 의미를 갖는다.
