Abstract
본 연구는 노인 대상 음악치료 및 음악프로그램의 기초자료로써 노인들이 선호하는 노래를 수집하고 분석하였다. 연구 대상자는 서울특별시와 6대광역시(부산, 대구, 대전, 인천, 광주, 울산)에 거주하고 있는 65세 이상 노인 1199명을 대상자로 선정하였다. 설문조사를 통해 수집된 노래는 총 432곡으로 노래의 장르와 주제를 분석하였으며 이를 개인 내적요인(연령, 성별)과 외적요인(거주 지역)에 따라 SPSS v.018을 이용하여 교차분석을 하였다. 또한 노인들이 선호하는 상위 50곡에 대한 음악적 요소(리듬, 박자, 조성, 선율 조성, 선율 진행, 빠르기, 형식)별로 분석하였다. 연구의 결과는 첫째, 노인들은 트로트(855명, 71.3%)를 가장 선호하였으며, 포크(98명, 8.2%), 발라드(80명, 6.7%), 민요(71명, 5.9%), 가곡(59명, 4.9%)순으로 선호하였다. 성별에 따른 결과로 남성과 여성은 모두 트로트를 선호하였고, 남성은 포크, 민요, 발라드, 가곡 순으로, 여성은 포크, 발라드, 가곡, 민요 순으로 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 연령에 따른 결과로 연령이 낮은 집단일수록 가곡, 포크, 발라드를 선호하였고, 연령이 높은 집단일수록 트로트와, 민요를 더 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 지역에 따른 결과로 7개 지역 모두 트로트를 가장 선호하였지만 대전 지역은 85.4%가, 울산 지역은 48.1%가 트로트를 선호하여 지역 간의 선호 비율차이가 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 노인들은 이별(383명, 31.9%)에 관한 노래를 가장 선호하였으며, 사랑(293명, 24.4%), 인생 (280명, 23.4%), 향수(92명, 7.7%), 자연(57명, 4.8%)순으로 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 성별에 따른 결과로 남, 여 모두 이별에 관한 노래를 가장 선호하였다. 남성은 인생, 사랑 순으로 선호하였으며, 여성은 사랑, 인생, 순으로 선호하여 남녀 간의 차이가 나타났다. 연령에 따른 결과로 모든 연령 집단에서 이별에 관한 노래를 가장 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 집단별로는 연령이 낮은 집단일수록 사랑에 관한 노래를, 연령이 높은 집단일수록 인생에 관한 노래를 더 선호하였다. 거주 지역에 따른 결과로 7개 지역 모두 이별에 대한 노래를 선호하였다. 지역별로 울산과 대구는 향수에 대한 노래를 더 선호하였으며 인천은 이별과 사랑에 대한 노래를 더 선호하였다. 셋째, 노인들이 선호하는 노래로 수집된 432곡 중 상위 50곡을 선정하여 음악적 요소를 분석하였다. 노인들이 선호하는 노래를 이루는 음악적 구성요소는 정박리듬(239명, 53.8%), 4/4박자(238명, 52.8%), 장조(282명, 64.1%), 5음 음계로 이루어진 선율(185명, 41.0%), 약간 빠른 노래(266명, 59.0%), 4마디 단위 비형식곡(229명, 50.8%)로 분석되었다. 본 연구에서 수집된 노인들이 선호하는 노래는 기존 노인 대상 음악치료에서 한정적으로 사용되고 있는 노래에 비해 개인의 성별, 연령, 지역에 따라 매우 광범위하게 나타났으며, 이는 노인을 대상으로 음악 선정 시 성별, 연령, 지역 및 개인의 특성을 고려해야 함을 의미한다. 이에 본 연구의 결과가 향후 노인들의 음악치료 및 여가 프로그램의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있음을 시사한다.;This study is a basic material of music therapy and music program for the elderly and their preferred songs were gathered and analyzed. The 1199 subjects are the over-65 age elderly who are living in 7 major cities (Seoul, Gwangju, Daegu, Daejeon, Busan, Ulsan, Incheon). 432 songs which were collected by the survey were analyzed according to genre and theme and composed of cross-tabulations with both internal factor (age, gender) and external factor (residential district) using SPSS Version. Also top 50 of their favorite songs were analyzed by musical factors (rhythm, beat, melody key, melody progress, tempo, type). Firstly, the elderly people prefer trot (855, 71.3%) than other genres followed by folk (98, 8.2%), ballade (80, 6.7%), folk song (71, 5.9%), song (59, 4.9%). Both of men and women prefer trot. Especially men like more folk followed by folk song, ballade, song and women like more folk, ballade, song, folk song. They like more song, folk, ballade as they are less old. But they like more trot, folk song as they are older. Trot was most preferred in 7 major cities. However, it was 85.4% in Daejeon and 48.1% in Ulsan which means that there is difference between regions. Secondly, the elderly people like most songs related to breakup (383, 31.9%) followed by love (293, 24.4%), life (280, 23.4%), homesickness (92, 7.7%), nature (57, 4.8%). Both of men and women prefer songs about breakup than others. Men like more life, love and women like more love, life which means that difference exists between genders. All age group like songs about breakup most. They like more songs about love as they belong to less old group and songs about life as they belong to older group. Songs related to breakup was most preferred in 7 major cities. Moreover, songs about homesickness were more chosen in Ulsan and Daegu. But songs about breakup and love were preferred in Incheon. Thirdly, top 50 among 432 favorite songs of the elderly were analyzed by musical factors. Those factors were steady rhythm (239, 53.8%), 4/4 beat (238, 52.8%), major key (282, 64.1%), pentatonic scale in melody (185, 41.0%), slightly fast songs (266, 59.0%) and non-typed songs of 4 measures structure (229, 50.8%). The songs collected for this study present diversity from personal gender, age and region so extensively as compared with existing songs of music therapy for the elderly which are limited. Accordingly gender, age, region and personal trait should be considered if the song for them is chosen. The results of this research work can be utilized as basic information on music therapy and leisure programs for the elderly.
