수학 교과서에 나타난 일반화와 고등학생의 일반화과정 비교

Abstract

본 연구는 교과서에서 나타나는 일반화를 표현방법과 전개방법에 따라 분석하고 이를 고등학교 1학년 학생들의 일반화 과정에서 나타나는 특징과 비교·분석하여 교사가 수업을 할 때 학생들의 일반화를 효과적으로 돕고자 한다. 이를 위하여 연구 문제는 다음과 같이 선정하였다. 연구문제 1. 교과서에 나타난 일반화의 표현방법과 전개방법의 특징은 무엇인가? 연구문제 2. 고등학생이 사용하는 일반화의 표현방법은 무엇이며, 생성된 일반화를 어떤 방법으로 설명하는가? 연구를 위해 이전의 연구들을 바탕으로 분석의 대상이 일반화의 범위를 정하고, 일반화의 결과를 표현하는 방법과 일반화의 과정을 전개하는 방법을 나누어 분석의 틀을 만들었다. [연구문제 1]를 해결하기 위해서 [1-가]부터 [10-나]까지 20권의 교과서에서 일반화의 부분을 찾아 표현방법과 전개방법을 알아보았다. [연구문제2]를 위해서 고등학교 1학년을 대상으로 일반화가 포함된 문제를 풀게 하여 개별면담을 실시하였다. 면담과정을 녹화한 비디오 자료, 학생들의 시험지, 관찰자의 노트를 연구 자료로 포함시켰다.;We investigate the generalization of mathematics textbooks with respect to their expressions and development methods, and compare it with the high school freshmen students' generalization characteristics in order to enhance the instruction efficiency. There are posed two main questions: 1. Which expressions and development methods do the textbooks use? 2. How does a high school student generalize mathematical findings and express them? Based on previous literatures, we first specify the range of generalization and then construct an analytic framework which divides the whole procedure into developing a generalization and expressing its results. The first main question is approached by analyzing the generalizations in twenty textbooks from [1-Ga] to [10-Na], and the second one by interviewing high school freshmen who have been assigned to solve generalization problems. The interview video records, the students' answer sheets, and the observer's notes are included as the research data.
