兒童畵에 있어서 畵紙의 形態와 表現欲求에 관한 硏究

Abstract

Drawing is more important in children's education in developing emotional development. It is necessary to stimulate desire of expression in children by providing spontaneous and creative activities through drawing process. Expression material is assumed to be connected closely to development of expression desire and conventional rectangular white drawing paper is limited in doing so. The study is concentrated to review relationship between spatial expression and desire in terms of type of drawing material and colors being used in children drawings. 430㎠ forms are adopted for this study and such shape as rectangular, circular, regular, hexahedron and triangular are sampled in colors of white, red, blue and yellow. Study is targeted for object sampling of 5-7 years old age group, 819 children in 16 kindergartens and analysed by means of test and interview. Given a choice to select their own liking, children reacted better to new material and color than white rectangular paper. Interview with teachers revealed that childrean drew fast with interest in given time. Group interview also indicates their interest. It was found that children are interested in new material in different shapes and colors showing relationship between expression desire and drawing material and ultimately in enhancing expression desire to some extent. Selection of drawing material is assumably a factor to give stimulus to expression desire and to attain educational accomplishment.;아동에 있어서 교육은 중요하며 그 중에서 정서를 위한 미술 교육은 더욱 중요한 과제가 된다. 아동 미술 교육에서 새롭고 변화있는 분위기를 형성하여 표현 욕구를 충동하는 것이 필요하며 표현 재료의 변화와 표현 욕구와는 관계가 있을 것이라고 보고 畵紙에 있어서 백색의 직사각형 형태로 한정하는 기존 관념에 문제가 있다고 보았다. 本 硏究의 目的은 아동화의 표현활동에 있어서 화지 형태와 화지색채의 변화에 따른 표현 공간과 표현 욕구와의 관계를 검증하는데 있다. 本 硏究의 方法은 형태에서 430㎠의 동일한 면적의 직사각형, 원형, 정육각형, 정삼각형의 화지와 형태별로 각각 백색, 담적색, 담청색, 담황색의 화지를 有意標集하였다. 硏究對象은 5 - 7세의 아동으로서 서울시내 16개 유치원, 819명을 目的標出하였고 연구와 면담으로 비교 분석하였다. 화지의 형태와 색화지로 변화시켜 자유로 선택하도록 한 결과 기존형태인 직사각형이나 백색보다는 새로운 형태나 색화지가 반응이 좋왔다. 교사의 면담에서도 아동들이 변형된 화지와 색화지를 선택하여 평상시보다는 열심히 그리고 즐겁게 빨리 표현한 것으로 나타났고 아동들의 집단 면담에서는 대부분이 흥미가 있다는 반응을 보였다. 이와같이 아동화에 있어서 표현 재료와 표현 욕구와는 관계가 있다는 것을 발견하였고 기존 형태나 색채보다 새롭게 변화된 형태나 색화지에 관심과 흥미가 있는 것으로 반응되었으므로 그에 따라 表現欲求度도 상승되리라고 보여진다. 아동화의 지도에 있어서 표현 재료의 변화는 표현 욕구를 촉진시키는 要因이 되므로 중요한 과제이며 이에 따라 창작 효과도 달라질 것으로 본다.
