Abstract
This study is to design the special physical education program for the physically handicapped children in Korea. The physical education program is organized for improvement and development of their handicaps in daily life physically, emotionally and socially. The Method of this study was attempted by the questionaires which had been distributed to the physical education teachers of all the special schools in Korea. Also, the special physical education programs of the United States were analysed. After Comparison and analysis of Korean and American Special Physical Education programs, a special program, which is considered most suitable to Korean handicapped children, is presented here. The results are as follows; 1. The special physical educational programs for the physically handicapped children in Korea are not considered to be designed scientifically, systematically and effectively. 2. The facilities for special physical educational program in Korean special school are considered insufficient. 3. It is considered very urgent to educate and train specialists of physical education for the handicapped. 4. The ball game programs in the physical education for the handicapped are widely used. 5. The swimming is the most desirable exercise in improving the conditions of handicapss of each part of the body for the handicapped. 6. As programs applicable to physically handicapped Korean children, program for general basic movement, program applicable depending upon situation, of each bodily part, and program for general sports game and recreation are presented.;本 硏究는 肢體 不自由兒를 爲한 特殊體育 方案으로 身體活動을 通하여 Handicape 條件을 改善하고 發展시킬 수 있는 組織化된 體育 program을 考案하여 肢體 不自由兒들이 가지고 있는 最大限의 潛在力을 開發하여 學校生活이나 日常生活에서 身體的, 情緖的, 社會的으로 適應할 수 있는 能力을 發達시키는데 그 目的이 있다. 硏究의 方法은 設問紙를 通하여 우리 나라 各 特殊學敎 體育敎師에게 配付하여 그 資料를 統計的으로 處理하였고 美國의 여러 學者들의 特殊體育 program을 文獻的 硏究로 調査分析하여 百分率로 換算하였다. 그리고 美國과 韓國의 特殊體育 program을 比較分析하여 韓國의 肢體 不自由兒에게 알맞게 適用할 수 있는 特殊體育 program을 考案하여 提示하였다. 그 結果는 다음과 같다. 1. 韓國의 肢體 不自由兒를 爲한 特殊體育 program은 科學的, 組織的, 效果的으로 作成되어 있지 않았다고 할 수 있겠다. 2. 韓國의 各 特殊學敎의 體育施設은 未備하다고 볼 수 있다. 3. 肢體 不自由兒의 體育指導 專門家 養成이 時急하다고 본다. 4. 肢體 不自由兒의 體育活動에서는 球技運動을 많이 活用하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 5. 水泳은 肢體 不自由兒의 各 部位 障碍條件을 改善하는데 가장 바람직한 運動으로 나타나 있다. 6. 韓國 肢體 不自由兒에게 適用할 수 있는 體育 program은 一般的인 基本運動 技能을 爲한 program, 各 部位의 狀態에 따른 program, 一般的인 Sports, Game, Recreation 活動에 관한 program 等을 考案하여 提示하였다.
