英·韓 補文 構造의 比較硏究

Abstract

이 논문은 대체로 최근 변형문법이론의 Transformational Hypothesis에 입각하여 한국어 보문구조를 영어의 보문구조와 비교해가며 분석해 보았는데, 보문자(complementizer), 事實性(factivity), 無主語動詞 (Subjectless predicate), 관계절(relative clause )의 분석에 있어서는 Phrase Structure Hypothesis를 절충적으로 도입해야 함을 발견하였다. 따라서 이와 같은 절충적 方向이 영어의 보문구조문법, 나아가서는 일반 문법이론에도 반영되어야 할 것 같다는 시사를 얻었다.;This is a study of Korean complementation in comparison with English complementation. The general theoretical framework of this study is the Transformational Hypothesis within the current generative-transformation theory. In the course of this study, it has been discovered that the Phrase Structure Hypothesis should be partially implemented in the analyses of complementizers, factive complements, subjectless predicates and relative clauses. Thus, it is suggested that the correct'hhpothesis for human language may be a hypothesis that integrates both the Transformational and Phrase Structure Hypotheses.
