Abstract
The purpose of this study is to support the desirable clothing behavior of high school students in the clothing educational aspect through analizing the meaning of Self-Control Clothing System which is in the course of stablization. The system was implemented under the educational intent; say, developing aesthetic sense as well as cultivating creative sense of teenagers whose physical and mental growing-up speed is very high. Believing that their wearing state could show the one side of the education, I had tried to investigate the actual wearing state of high school girls. The result revealed was as follows; 1) Most girls prefer to take jeans rather than skirts, and wearing convenient-and-active clothes. 2) They prefer practical quality and light coloured one to dark, as well as the same coloured contrast rather than the complementary one. 3) The adoption of the design principle complying with their individuality was not skilled. 4) The selection of their attire was not appropriate in the light of time, place, occasion. 5) The guidance of home, school and society was negligent for their clothing life. From above result, I understood that clothing education for teenagers is imperatively required in order to improve their clothing life level, and desirable clothing culture could be achieved only when their beauty is expressed through the right choice of wearings in this time of ready-made clothes.;본 연구에서는 자율복의 정착과정에서 자율복의 의의를 복식교육면과 관련지어 분석해보므로서 올바른 의복행동에 도움이 되고자 한 것이다. 신체적 정신적 성장속도가 빠른 청소년들에게 美的감각의 개발과 창의성 신장을 기한다는 교육적인 취지에서 자율복 착용이 추진되었다. 학생복의 복식현상이 교육의 일면이라 생각되어 여고생을 대상으로 자율복 착용행태를 파악하고자 하였다. 착용자의 실태 파악 결과는 1) 치마보다 바지 차림을 즐겨 입으며, 간편하고 활동적인 옷을 착용하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 2) 옷의 질감은 실용적인 것을 즐겨 입으며, 어두운 색보다 밝은색을 좋아하며, 보색 배색보다 동색 배색을 좋아하는 것으로 나타났다. 3) 옷 착용시 개성에 따른 디자인의 원리를 적용시키는데 익숙치 못한 것으로 나타났다. 4) T(Time), P(Place), O(Occasion)에 따른 선택이 적절하지 못한 것으로 나타났다. 5) 가정, 학교, 사회에서의 의생활 지도가 소홀한 것으로 나타났다. 이상에서 의생활의 수준을 향상시키려면 복식교육이 필요하며, 기성복 시대에서 올바른 선택으로, 착용하는 美를 표현할 수 있게 하여야 만이 바람직한 의복문화가 향상 될 수 있음을 알게되었다.
