Abstract
In the circumstances of modern society where the industry is getting extremely specialized and mechanized, the design of packing paper is becoming meaningful; also in order to renew the consciousness about communications, the study of design is obviously necessary to the students. In this study the various general problems of the students are presented, that is the ordinary difficulties in the process of dealing with figures, letters and ground-colors in the course of designing-packing-paper study. The purpose of this study is to verify the learning effects of students according to the methods in the course of designing packing-paper study of the education of art in junior-high-schools. In this research a thousand of students in the two grade in junior-highschools in Seoul were participated, and they were divided into two groups. The one, that is the group of being able to make experiments, was conditioned to choose the ground-color paper at their own will and to form figures and letters making use of the techniques of the print, and the results of the works were analyzed. Also the opinions of the students in experiments-group to the course of experimental study were investigated by means of the group-interview. The results from analyzing the effects from the course of study and the group-interview are like these: 1. Analysis of the achieved marks From the fact that the marks of students in experimental group are distributed obviously higher than the marks of students in non-experimental group, it is evident that the effects from the course of experimental study were reflected very much. 2. Analysis of the group-interview Out of their answers that the difficulties taken place from painting the ground color with brush-pen, like with becoming dirty and taking too much time, could be disappeared, and that good effects were followed from making use of the techniques of the print in the formation of figures and letters, we can see that the course of experimental study have improved the ability of expression in designing packing paper. Like above it is verified that according to the improvement of educating methods, the effects of study is remarkably advanced in the education of art in junior-highschools.;현대사회처럼 산업이 고도로 발달되고 기계화 되어가고 있는 산업사회가 될수록 포장 Design은 필수적인 것이 되어야 하며 Communication에 대한 인식을 새롭게 해 주기 위해서는 무엇보다도 Design학습이 절실하게 필요하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 학생들의 평상시 포장지 Design학습과정에 있어서 도형과 문자를 그리고 바탕색을 처리하는 데서 오는 여러가지 어려움을 문제로 제기한다. 본 연구의 목적은 중학교 미술교육에서 포장지 Design학습의 지도방법에 따른 학습효과를 점증하는데 있다. 본 연구의 방법은 서울시내 중학교 2학년 1,000명을 대상으로 실험반과 비실험반으로 나누어 실험반에는 바탕색지를 자유로 선택하게 하고 판화기법을 이용한 도형과 문자를 적게 하여 제작한 후 평가결과를 분석하였다. 또한 실험반 학생들이게 集團面接을 통하여 실험학습에 대한 의견을 물었다. 학습효과와 집단면접을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 성적 분석 성적평가에서 실험반이 비실험반 보다 현저하게 성적이 높게 분포된 것으로 보아 실험학습의 효과가 크게 나타난 것을 실증하여 준다. 2. 면접 분석 도형과 문자를 판화기법에 의하여 처리한 결과 효과가 있었다는 반응이 높은 것으로 보아 실험학습방법은 포장지의 표현효과를 향상시켰음을 알 수 있다. 바탕색을 붓으로 칠하기 때문에 발생하는 깨끗하지 못한 것, 시간이 걸리는 것 등의 문제점이 바탕색지를 자유로 선택하게 함으로써 해소되었다. 이와같이 중등학교 미술교육에서 지도방법의 개선에 따라 학습효과가 현저하게 향상되었음이 실증되었다.
