개별학습을 위한 CAI 프로그램의 개발

Abstract

오늘날의 교육은 그 양적 팽창에 대처할 수 있는 질적 향상 방안을 강구해야 하는 심각한 당면과제를 안고 있다. 교육의 질적 향상이란 교육체계에 들어온 학습자 개개인이 모두 소정의 학습목표를 성취함으로써 학습결과를 극대화시키는 것을 의미한다. 이러한 개별학습을 실시할 수 있는 방법의 하나로 컴퓨터보조학습(Computer Assisted Instruction:CAI)이 시도되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 중학교 3학년 과학 교과과정중 일과 에너지에 대한 개념의 이해를 돕기 위하여 IBM PS55 기종으로 BASIC 언어를 사용하여 프로그램을 개발하였다. 여기에서 개발된 CAI 프로그램은 컴퓨터 시설이 갖추어진 교실수업 현장에서 사용될 수 있으며, 일과 후 수업현장에서 부족했던 학습내용을 보충하기 위한 복습용으로도 사용될 수 있으리라 기대된다.;Today education has an urgent problem which must grope for qualitative improvement method in response to quantitative expansion.
