한국 채색화의 재료 및 기법 연구

Abstract

본 논문에서는 한국 현대 채색화의 재료에 대해 알아보고, 기법에 대해 연구해 보았다. 채색화에 사용되는 각 재료가 지닌 特性을 파악한 후, 올바른 사용법을 기본으로 하여, 다양한 기법 및 실험이 이루어져야 된다는 점에 취지를 두었고, 그에 따른 作品을 몇가지 분류해 보았다. 먼저 이론적인 배경으로는 한국의 현대 채색화가 있기까지의 발달과정에 대한 이해를 위해, 東洋畵에 있어서 彩色畵의 개념 및 특징에 대한 설명을 하였다. 한국 채색화의 발달과정은 중국과의 관계속에서 성립하므로, 중국 채색화의 기원 및 발달과정, 특히 北畵의 흐름을 통해 연구하였다. 이어서 우리나라의 선사시대 회화와, 삼국시대, 고려 및 조선시대, 근대기에 이어 현대의 한국 채색화가 처한 상황까지 고찰하였다. 다음으로 이러한 채색화에 사용되는 재료 연구에서는 바탕재로 한지, 비단, 목재, 회벽, 가죽에 대해 살펴보았고, 수간안료, 봉채, 석채 등의 안료와 안료고착제인 아교 및 붓에 대해서도 다루었다. 특히, 현대의 한국 채색화는 바탕재로 韓紙를 많이 사용하고 있으므로 褙接過程이 무척 중요하다. 따라서 풀쑤기와 배접방법 등에 관해서도 검토하였다. 마지막으로 앞에서 고찰한 이론 및 재료의 특성을 기반으로 한 작품을 材料 및 技法면에서 몇가지로 분류하였다. 현대로 오면서 한국 채색화가 매우 다양해지고 있는 상태에서, 부족하나마 본 논고가 앞으로의 한국 채색화 발전을 위해 조금이나마 도움이 되었으면 하는 바램이다.;We researched on the material of Korean modern style colored painting and studied on the technique. in this study. It is organized that various technique & experiment must be based on the correct usage after grasping the feature each material in painting has. First of all, we explained on the concept feature of the painting of the Oriental Painting to understand the progress of Korean Modern colored Painting as a theoretical background. We studied it through the origin of Chinese painting & the progress, especially the currency of Pukhwa(Northern Painting) because the progress of Korean colored painting is made between the relation with China. Then, we even inquired into the situation with Korean painting of Prehistoric Age of Korea, Samkuk age & Koryo Dynasty & Choseun Dynasty and Modern Age. Then, we examined on Korean Paper, Silk, Wood, Leather with plastered painting wall as the background materials in material research used in this painting and included the cosmetics of the shaft, Bongchae and Seukchae etc and the glue of cosmetic binder & paint brush in it. Especially, as a backplate attachment process, it is important because Korean Paper is much used as a background materials in modern Korean colored painting. And so, we also examined on making paste and backplate attachment method. At last, we classified the works based on theory examined above & the feature of the material as some kinds in terms of material & technique. The modern society is the age of Color, and the Korean colored painting is much being diversified. Though it is a short study, we hope that it will give you some help for developing korean painting to progress.
