dc.description.abstract | Compared to their plasmonic counterparts, scattering-reducing Mie resonator-based optical systems are able to sustain strong resonances at small spatial scales and be relatively free from optical loss. In this work, we introduce a Mie-resonance based method to enhance the transmission efficiency of transmissive optical nanofilters. We integrate quantum emitters inside a previously described PMMA-Ag core-shell nanowire system that acts as an efficient dipole resonator when excited by light polarized parallel to the nanowire. The research methodology involves a comprehensive theoretical study of the fundamental principles governing Mie resonators and their scattering properties. Based on the theoretical insights, optimized designs for scattering reducing PMMA-Ag nanostructures will be proposed, considering factors such as size, shape, and arrangement of the resonators. Computational simulations using Lumerical© Finite-domain Time-difference (FDTD) software will be employed to optimize the structural parameters and predict their transmittance performance enhancement. Subsequently, the proposed designs will be translated into practical applications through fabrication processes. A modified electron beam lithography is utilized to fabricate the PMMA-based Mie resonators. The fabricated samples are then subjected to extensive characterization using confocal microscopy and spectroscopy techniques. This hybrid resonator system can theoretically achieve 5 percent more transmission at resonance compared to the original resonator, all while retaining comparably high resolution.;미에 공명체 기반 광학 시스템은 플라즈몬 기반 시스템에 비하여 작은 크기에서도 강한 공명을 이끌어낼 수 있으며, 광손실에서 비교적 자유롭다는 점에서 많은 주목을 받고 있다. | - |
