고등학생 시민의식에 영향을 미치는 변인 분석

Abstract

본 연구에서는 시민의식에 영향을 미치는 학교 변인에 대하여 밝히고자 하였다. 학생들이 대부분의 시간을 학교에서 보낸다고 할 때, 학교의 어떠한 측면이 학생들이 시민의식에 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 연구 문제로 첫째, 개인 변인, 가정 변인, 학교 변인을 설정하였고, 이러한 변인의 차이에 따라 학생들의 시민의식도 달라지는지 확인을 하였다. 둘째, 개인 변인, 가정 변인을 통제하고 학교 변인 중에서 학생들의 시민의식에 영향을 미치는 변인은 무엇인지 살펴보고 그 영향력을 확인하였다. 본 연구에서는 분석을 위해 서울교육종단연구(SELS) 2차년도 일반 고등학교학생용 설문 조사 결과를 활용하였다. 통계 분석과 자료 처리 분석를 위해 SPSS Statistics 22 프로그램을 활용하였다. 시민의식을 공동체 의식, 준법성, 평등 의식, 타인에 대한 배려의 수준으로 정의하였고, 이를 종속변인으로 설정하였다. 선행 연구를 바탕으로 종속변인에 영향을 미치는 개인 변인으로 성별, 학습 방법, 학습 노력, 학습 태도, 성취 목표, 창의성, 진로 성숙도, 자아 개념, 봉사활동 참여 여부를 설정하였다. 가정 변인으로는 월 평균 가계 소득, 가정 책 소유 권수, 보호자자녀 관심, 보호자자녀 대화의 차이를 설정하였다. 학교 변인으로는 교우 관계, 학교 만족도, 교사 만족도, 수업 태도, 교사 태도, 수업 분위기, 수업 만족도 방과후학교 참여 여부를 설정하였다. ;The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that affect high school students’civic consiousness using the Seoul Education Longitudinal Study(SELS) data. For this purpose, individual variables, family variables, and school variables were set up. The study analyzed whether the students' citizenship changes according to the differences in these variables. The study controlled individual variables and family variables, examined what variables affect students' citizenship among school variables, and confirmed their influence. For this analysis, the 2nd-year student and parents data of the SELS surveyed were used.. SPSS Statistics 22 program was used for statistical analysis. Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, difference analysis, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis were used as the analysis method. Independent variables were set as individual, family, and school variables. Community consciousness, lawfulness, sense of equality, and consideration for others, which are components of civic consciousness, were set up as dependents. gender, learning method, learning effort, learning attitude, achievement goal, creativity, career maturity, self concept, and participation in volunteer work were set up as individual variables. As family variables, the difference between monthly average household income, the number fo books owned by a household, caregivers' interest, and caregivers' conversation were set. As school variables, whether or not to participate in after-school classes, friendship, school satisfaction, teacher satisfaction, class attitude, teacher attitude, class atmosphere, and class satisfaction were set.
