건강 노인과 경도인지장애 노인의 리듬꼴 재산출 수행력 비교

Abstract

본 연구는 인지노화 수준에 따른 건강 및 경도인지장애 노인의 리듬 재산출 수행력의 차이를 살펴보기 위해 실시되었다. 연구의 대상자는 S시 및 A시 소재의 경로당, 치매안심센터, 노인 복지관 등 노인이용기관을 이용하는 연령이 만 60세 이상 85세 미만으로 자발적으로 참여를 원하는 건강 노인 36명과 경도인지장애로 진단받은 노인 32명, 총 68명이다. 모든 검사는 독립된 방에서 개별적으로 진행되었고 2박자 구조의 6가지 리듬꼴을 무작위로 1회 제공한 후, 리듬을 최대한 동일하게 반복적으로 아이패드 화면 위를 두드리도록 하였다. 본 연구를 위해 아이패드 어플리케이션(App) BPD2.5를 사용하여 대상자들이 두드린 값을 저장하고, 박 간의 간격 비율(R)을 산출하여 리듬 재산출 수행력을 숫자화 하고 비교하였다. 연구 결과, 건강 노인과 경도인지장애 노인의 리듬 재산출 수행력의 평균값에는 차이가 있었으나 통계적으로 유의하지는 않았다. 박 간의 간격 비율(R)에서 두 집단 모두 〈♩ ♩〉에서 가장 일치하게 재현할 수 있는 반면, 〈♩. ♪〉에서 정확하지 않아 수행하기 어려움을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 결과는 건강 및 경도인지장애 노인의 리듬 재산출 수행력에 차이는 없었지만 인지노화에 따른 리듬꼴의 난이도를 확인할 수 있었다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 이는 추후 노인 대상 음악치료에서 리듬 구성을 통해 과제의 난이도를 제공할 수 있는 기초 자료로서 사용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.;This research was conducted to measure rhythm reproduction ability of senior citizens with mild cognitive impairment and differences found in such ability in comparison with healthy group. Participants are senior citizens aged between 60 and 85 who are visitors of senior community centre, dementia prevention centre and senior welfare centre in city S and A. There are 68 participants in total, 32 of which are diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment and 36 of which are a healthy comparison group. Experiment was conducted one at a time in a separate room in which a subject was given one random binary time rhythmic idiom out of 6 and was instructed to copy the idiom by finger tapping. Input data provided by the patients were processed using BPD2.5 application designed for iPad. Rhythm reproduction ability was calculated and compared using rhythm ratio among beat(R) and error. Results showed difference found in rhythm reproduction ability between two groups but were of statistical insignificance. Rhythm ratio among beat(R) showed that both groups had highest rhythm reproduction rate at the beat 〈♩ ♩〉 but lower reproduction rate at the beat 〈♩. ♪〉. In conclusion, there was no significant difference in rhythm reproduction ability found in senior citizens with mild cognitive impairment compared to healthy group. However, this research is of importance as it revealed perceived level of difficulty of rhythm idiom based on cognitive aging. This paper, therefore, has the potential to provide appropriate rhythm difficulty setting for music therapies in future studies.
