Abstract
In this paper the Brans-Dicke cosmological model with spin and torsion field is considered. The effects of the spin and the scalar field on the expansion rate and the types of inflation are discussed. Since the torsion field is generated by the scalar field as well as by the spin, the torsion effect by the scalar field still remains even if there are no spins. It is shown that the expansion rate is the power law faster than the extended inflation. The bubble nucleation rates are the same as in the usual Brans-Dicke case.
