강박장애 인지행동이론을 바탕으로 한 무용창작작품「무서운 환상」에 관한 연구

Abstract

현대인들은 급격한 속도로 발전하고 있는 사회적 변화에 맞춰 적응해나가야 하는 심리적 부담감을 안고 있으며, 이 같은 흐름 속에서 살아남기 위한 현대인들의 경쟁은 더욱 치열해지고 있다. 그 결과 무엇이든지 남들보다 더 완벽하게 잘해내야 한다는 압박감을 가지게 하였고, 이러한 압박감은 과도한 책임감을 유발하였다. 과도하게 지각된 책임감은 여러 가지 심리적 문제를 비롯하여 정신장애의 하나인 강박장애로 발전하게 되는데, 강박장애는 우리 주위에서 쉽게 찾아볼 수 있는 현상으로써 문제가 악화될 경우 대인관계와 사회생활은 물론 일상생활 에서도 심각한 어려움을 겪게 된다. 이러한 문제에 대해 임상심리학자 폴 살코프스키스는 강박장애 인지행동이론을 통해서 과도한 책임감으로 인한 강박장애의 모습과 이를 치유하는 것에 대해서 설명하고 있다. 이에 본 연구자는 무용창작작품「무서운 환상」을 현대인들이 경험하고 있는 정신장애인 강박장애를 소재로 안무하였으며, 살코프스키스의 강박장애 인지행동이론을 내용적 기반으로 하여 총 3장으로 구성하였다. 본 작품은 과도한 책임감으로 인한 강박장애에서 벗어나 융통성 있는 삶의 모습을 전달하는 것을 주제로 창작되었으며, 자유로운 신념의 변화를 통해 강박장애에서 벗어나는 모습을 보여줌으로써 보다 여유롭고 긍정적인 삶의 모습을 보여주고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 본 작품을 주제 및 내용, 장면에 따른 무대구성, 무용수의 이동경로와 움직임, 오브제와 조명을 중심으로 분석하였다. 첫째, 본 작품의 주제는 강박장애의 지속과정을 통해 문제점을 인식하고 잘못된 신념을 변화시켜 집착의 마음에서 벗어나 보다 여유롭고 융통성 있는 삶의 모습을 보여주는 것으로, 작품은 내용에 따라 총 3장으로 구성되었다. 먼저 1장은 자신의 의지와 상관없이 반복적으로 침투하는 강박사고로 인한 책임감과 불안한 심리상태를 표현하였고, 2장은 불안감을 없애기 위한 강박행동으로 인해 다시 찾아오는 불안감을 표현하여 강박장애의 악순환의 과정을 나타내었다. 마지막 3장은 강박사고에서 벗어나 합리적이고 유연한 신념의 변화를 통해 강박장애를 치유하는 모습을 표현하였다. 둘째, 본 작품은 강박장애와 이를 치유하는 모습을 표현하는데 있어서 개인의 인지적 해석이 심리와 행동에 미치는 영향을 동시에 보여주기 위해 무대의 공간을 어느 한쪽의 치우침 없이 전면과 후면으로 나누어 구성하였다. 무대 공간은 오브제가 설치된 전면공간을 행동의 외면공간으로, 그 뒤 후면공간은 심리의 내면공간으로 설정하였다. 각 장의 내용에 따라 1장에서는 내면의 공간을 중점적으로 사용하여 불안함 심리를 강조하여 나타내었으며, 2장에서는 내면과 외면공간을 모두 사용하여 사고와 행동의 과정이 함께 드러나도록 하였다. 그리고 마지막 3장에서는 외면의 공간만을 사용하여 결과적으로 치유된 모습을 시각적으로 전달하였다. 셋째, 본 작품에서 무용수의 이동경로와 움직임은 각 장에 따라 구성된 무대 공간 안으로 설정하였다. 1장에서는 주로 내면공간에서 직선의 이동경로와 반복적인 움직임을 사용하여 강박사고의 지속적인 침투를 보여주고, 2장에서는 오브제에서 멀어졌다 다시 가까워지는 이동경로와 오브제를 반복적으로 바라보는 시선의 움직임을 통해 강박장애의 악순환을 표현하고, 후반부에 대각선으로 변화하는 시선을 통해 인식의 전환을 나타내었다. 마지막 3장에서는 외면공간에 일정하고 규칙적으로 세워져 있는 오브제를 발로 쓰러뜨리거나 무작위로 쌓아올리며 변화시키는 움직임을 통해서 강박장애에서 벗어나 융통성 있게 변화하는 모습을 표현하였다. 넷째, 본 작품은 오브제와 조명을 사용하여 주제를 부각시키고자 하였다. 오브제는 10개의 직사각형 모양의 상자로 책임감을 드러내는 대상으로서의 의미를 가지며, 강박장애가 갖는 특징들을 움직임과 함께 표현하기 적합하도록 설정하였다. 각 장의 내용에 따라 다른 형태로 배치하여 의미를 전달하고 있는데, 1장에서는 어지럽게 흩어져 있는 모습을 통해 책임감을 불러일으키고, 2장에서는 일정하게 정렬된 오브제의 모습은 강박행동을 표현하였으며, 마지막 3장에서는 오브제가 자유롭게 쌓여있는 모습으로 강박장애의 치유를 표현하였다. 마찬가지로 조명도 각 장의 내용에 맞게 모양과 색을 다르게 사용하였는데, 2장에서는 내면공간에 원 모양의 조명을 사용하여 강박장애의 반복적인 굴레를 표현하고, 외면공간에는 ‘재생’과 ‘상실감’의 상반된 의미를 가지고 있는 파랑색 조명을 사용하여 강박행동으로 인해 불안감이 멀어졌다 다시 가까워지는 악순환 과정에 의미를 더했다. 그리고 3장에서는 외면공간에 치유를 나타내는 보라색 조명을 사용하여 주제를 부각시키고자 하였다. 따라서 무용창작작품「무서운 환상」은 현대인이 경험하고 있는 정신장애인 강박장애의 악순환의 과정과 이를 치유하는 모습을 표현하였다. 이에 본 연구자는 작품을 통하여 과도한 책임감으로 인해 강박장애를 갖고 살아가는 현대인들이 집착의 마음에서 벗어나 보다 여유롭고 융통성 있는 삶을 살아갈 수 있어야함을 제시하고자 하였다.;We have had a psychological burden if unless modern people adapted to match the changes in society that have developed in rapid speed, modern people, even more competition of modern people in order to survive in such flow has intensified. As a result, modern people got to have a feeling of pressure anything, that there must be better than other people so this pressure was induced by an excessive sense of responsibility. Perceived excessive responsibility, as well as a variety of psychological problems, develops into the obsessive-compulsive disorder, one of psychiatric disorders, which is easy to find around us as a phenomenon, when the problem is exacerbated it cause serious difficulties in the Interpersonal relationships and social life, as well as daily life. Clinical Psychologist, Paul Salkovskis states about the disorder caused by excessive sense of responsibility and what it is healed through the cognitive-behavioral theory of obsessive-compulsive disorder. Writer choreographed Creative dance work 『Scary illusions』with the subject of mental obsessive-compulsive disorder modern people are experiencing and the work was composed of three chapters based on cognitive behavioral theory of obsessive-compulsive disorder. this work was created by the theme of conveying the appearance of raw flexible beyond the obsessive-compulsive disorder due to excessive liability and showing more relaxed and positive life by breaking away from obsessive-compulsive disorder through the change of free conviction in life. For this reason, we analyzed the subject and content of this work, stage composition by scenes, moving routes and movement of dancer, object and light. First, The theme of the work shows the recognizing the problems in a sustained process of obsessive-compulsive disorder and the picture of life with the flexibility by changing the false beliefs the work was a total of three. The first scene, represent the uneasy state of mind and a sense of the responsibility caused by repeatedly penetrating obsession, regardless of the will of their own. The second scene, shows the process of the vicious cycle of obsessive-compulsive disorder with expressing the fears from compulsive behaviors for eliminating anxiety. Lastly, the third scene, represent that obsessive-compulsive disorder heal up through belief change be rational and flexible without obsession. Second, for expressing obsessive-compulsive disorder and fixing it, the stage consists of the front space and the back space without bias to show at the same time the influence of the cognitive interpretation about the impact of the behavior and psychology. stage space is set in the front space object is installed to the outer space of the action and the back space to the psychological inner space. In accordance with the contents of each scene, in scene 1, it was to show emphasizing anxiety by focusing on using the inner space. In scene 2, the process of thought and action is to appear together with the outer space and inner space. In scene 3, as a result, only using the outer space, State in which healed was transferred visually. Third, moving routes and movement was limited in the stage space set on the basis of each chapter in this work. Scene 1 shows us the continued penetration of obsession as using the path of movement of the straight line and repetitive motion in the inner space mainly, scene 2 shows us vicious circle of obsessive-compulsive disorder through the moving path of being far closer to the back and the movement of the line-of-sight to look at repeated objects and showed conversion of recognition through the change of the line-of-sight in the direction of the slant in the latter part. In scene 3 of the last, this writer expressed through the movement of falling down the object which stands as a rule in outer space with the foot or piling it up randomly, changing the flexibility to be out from obsessive-compulsive disorder. Fourth, this work is trying to float the topic using the object and lighting. Object was set appropriately having a meaning as the subject reveal a sense of responsibility to the 10 rectangular boxes so as to express along with the motion and features of obsessive-compulsive disorder. In according with the contents of each chapter They are arranged in a different form, so as to transmit meaning. In the first scene, through the figure of the scattering, They evoke a sense of responsibility. In scene 2, constantly arranged figure expressed the compulsive behavior. Lastly, scene 3 Figure which are stacked free was expressed the figure to be healed through a change. lighting has been used shape and color differently to fit the contents of each chapter also. In scene 2, with the lighting of the circular space of the inner space, and they express a bridle of repetitive obsessive-compulsive disorder. The outer space was added meaning to vicious cycle of obsessive-compulsive disorder by using the illumination of blue compared with regeneration and sense of loss. And, in scene 3, we gave prominence to the topic by using the illumination of violet which indicate cure of the inner space. Thus, a 『Scary illusion』 dance creative work was expressed with the course of the vicious cycle of mental disabilities modern people are experiencing, of obsessive-compulsive disorder and a figure to heal this. Therefore, by this work, this writer wants to suggest that modern people who live with a obsessive-compulsive disorder due to excessive sense of responsibility are out from the heart of obsession, and live a life that is flexible if there is a space.
